Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken but those results will take into account us buying Jorginho, Kepa and Pulisic last season, whilst there was only one sizeable player sale I believe in Courtois. Also we didn't have Champions League football last season. Despite winning the Europa League, I think we've already over doubled our european money this season compared to last or something nearly as ridiculous. Having sold Hazard in the summer, Morata this coming summer and likely some other player sales, I think a good amount of money will be spent across the next 2 transfer windows. To be fair the times we feel we've shopped at Harrods, we've come away feeling we haven't got value for money so maybe that's not the best idea anyway. correct. They are up until June 2019 and take into account no CL , plus Kepa, Jorginho etc. We are sitting on a tonne of money right now from TV and CL money to this date, plus summer sales. Just a hunch Could see Sancho arriving in the summer with us, though And I really dont think Gabigol is coming here, i reckon West Ham, Palace, Watford kinda club is getting him. Ian McGarry is the ultimate bullshitter, knows nothing. Think we will end the window with Dembele, and Ake, perhaps Zaha, too. Werner, Sancho, Koulibaly., O. Dembele, and that kinda calibre player do not move in January. Any stories about them can be filed under "gossip and nonsense" The gabigol guy screams of serri to me. When did he last do that then? He is fucking bang average and offers little more than CHO. Where's his beast mode performances - all in the past...? Plus playing for a weaker time is sometimes an advantage as other teams won't park the bus and sit deep, leaving him room to run in behind. Maybe you missed the match against us where a very green James had him in his pocket for the entire game? 🤔 You are of course entitled to your opinion, but this guy is a colossal waste of money at the prices quoted. 👍 Atomiswave, Vesper, Nicco and 1 other

Similar happened to VVD before he left Saints. And no, I'm not saying he will come here and have a similar ascendency, just that you're being very harsh writing him off based on his first bit of bad form for quite a while. Doesn't mean it will turn out the same. I repeat every single poster on this board who has watched him in the past season can tell he is an absolute dud. One of the most overrated player I've ever fucking seen, If we get him I sincerely hope he delivers because if not I will quote his entire player thread with posts from the last few pages where people ACTUALLY say he rips defenses to bits, sort of weapon I want in my team so they can point me to this mythical player which isn't Zaha. Superblue 6,372
1 hour ago, Jason said: I say this is BS but... Agree extremely unlikely. Having said that as the report states, he only has 18 months on his contract and he has been at Bayern now for 10 years. If he wants to try a new league with a big club then really it has to be soon unless he leaves on a free transfer in 18 months time when he'll be just turning 29. If there is any chance of getting him for somewhere around the price in that report then he has to be our first choice. Even at 27 I think we would get 3 - 3.5 years of him at the top level and he has experience of playing centrally too which he could possibly do as he gets a little older. Like I said I think it's Sancho or Zaha. So obviously I would prefer Jadon but if we can't sign him I'm OK with Zaha. For me Zaha it's top 5 wingers in the league with Salah, Mane, Son and Sterling. Only difference he plays for much weaker team. Bernardo Silva (25yo) is streets ahead of Zaha (and is left-footed so a perfect RWer for us, and can play AMF too) you also forget a healthy Sane (24yo in a week) Martial (24yo) too (and he can play CF as well) Richarlison (22yo) too (another one who can play CF) is another (being 5 years younger than Zaha as well is a big positive difference as well) I rate Zaha 9th after those 8 (your 4 plus my 4) My issues are age and price and a career-long lack of production (plenty of players produce decent numbers on shit teams) plus his wage demands will be super high, we all know this, so a potential changing-room point of trouble with some of our lads in the middle of contractual negotiations I think all in all he is worth around £50m or so, especially due to age, as we only get 2 full sub 30yo seasons out of him, and as I have tirelessly documented dozens of times, there are so few over 30yo wingers n the EPL (and globally so few who are decent), and almost all in the EPL are shit) There are NO EPL LWers over 27yo except for one, the just turned 30yo dregs that is Junior Stanislas. Let that sink in. At RW, there are only 4 over 30yo (we have 2 and one is soon gone) Aaron Lennon, Pedro (soon gone) Willian and Robert Snodgrass (not a pure winger either), plus two 30yo olds, Theo Walcott and the just turned 30 Andrii Yarmolenko (who plays MF as well). £80m plus around £52m in salary (£200K PW for 5 years, £41.6m if a 4 year contract) is madness for a 28yo at 3 months into next season Zaha. His production at top flight is weak 38 goals in 219 games for top flight teams basically a goal every 6 games so 6 or 7 a year is that worth £132m? especially as he will be basically worthless at the end of his contract £3.5m PER GOAL based on his cumulative top-flight career production (granted he should score a bit more with us but still you get the point) manpe, Atomiswave, LegenTerry and 3 others

Tbf Real have had huge success with Brazilian and other South American nation players in the past. Not everyone is just looking for the next Neymar. Its the next great player in whatever position though but the Neymar comparisons are gonna be about for every Brazilian attacker until Neymar retires. Robinho was a success there despite how his career panned out and he was well before Neymar's time. Higuain was also a success coming from Argentina. Marcelo has been a success. Di Maria was too. Fernando Redondo, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos... go back far enough and Di Stefano etc. Even more recently Casemiro too. Militao, Valverde, Vinicius and Rodrygo are another few who will go on and forge there own careers at one level or another.
