Fabrizio has said 100% off. Ornstein also said something to that effect

Yes, but they haven’t said anything about the situation since those initial tweets last night. I just saw Ben Jacobs and Nizaar both tweet at the same time that Omorodion is still unlikely but not dead. That says to me that they’ve been told by someone who would know.

We all await another Ornstein bomb, I guess. But I’m now expecting “after further working on terms, Chelsea and Omorodion have come to an agreement.”

Really hope Aston Villa come in strong for Felix

He still has to agree to go there.

Doesn't make sense for us to get Felix when we have Nkunku and Palmer able to play behind the striker.

The interesting part is, there hasn't been any real rumors of Felix back to Chelsea....and then as soon as we get a Mendes client on the books, it's all open.

Wonder if Mendes said you can only have Neto if you help out Atletico with Felix 😆

Felix is a nice lad who played with passion. He took a huge pay cut to play for Barca last year so I imagine we'd be able to agree a sensible number with him. If the transfer fee is also modest then why not?

I don't think he'd be a guaranteed starter for us anymore, but only a good thing to have more technical players in the squad and strong competition for the best to rise to the top. If we're buying him for a sensible fee then he will probably have a similar resale value later.

I don't think it made sense to keep him for Poch but Maresca is playing a different type of football, and probably will appreciate him in the squad.

As fans, we'll no doubt be happy to have him as soon as Nkunku or Cole is injured or suspended for a game. Or when we look at the bench and see a group of fully grown up experienced pros ready to come on and try to change the game, unlike the bench we had last year.

Feel like something must be happening with Osimhen and the club had to find a way to nuke the Samu deal.

Marcos Benito on Twitter who broke the Ormorodion news last night before anyone

Well I doubt Gallagher failed a medical considering how fit he is....wonder if it's Atletico playing hard ball on the Felix deal, making sure they get it sealed.

The previous reports were that they had already agreed a deal with Guerra from Valencia and then Gallagher agreed to move to Atletico.

Hopefully for Gallagher's sake, the deal goes through.

Gallagher deal falling apart after he has been posted walking around Atleti’s stadium by their social media account would be disastrous.

If we’ve fucked up 3 different deals here Atleti will never want to deal with us again.

Like someone mentioned above - the cost was minimum 85-90m if that was the case.

Maybe.

But still deals like this normally have a way of taking time, from day 1 working at it, with it later coming to the table Conte was keen on Lukaku… a compromise could of been reached and sooner. Might still happen but imagine we run out of time because we spent weeks chasing and almost signing some Atletico loanee? Could have given both players a pre-season with their new clubs too.

Fuck knows what is happening now with Gallagher too. These Stewart & Winstanley cunts have to go either way. As soon as but won’t happen until after this season is done if it is going to happen.

All that time fucking about for a exchange deal - nonetheless on a player who is a young CF who we already have 2 of in the squad - only for it to collapse over contract issues and now they prioritise Oshimen, a more established and higher quality player which is more of the profile we should of targeted from day 1? And are now trying to take Felix (for LW I am guessing or else makes no sense although hugely inconsistent still) to make the Gallagher deal work? On top of only having 2 loan slots left for non u21/HG players and a squad of 40 odd players with no moves happening for players who need offloaded. Shower of useless bastards. Honestly couldn’t run a piss up in a brewery…

It will be a stand off now, with each side vying for what they want and how they want it. This is the problem with these domino transfers, it only takes a small piece to fall and a lot comes crumbling around it. If Atletico go for the Valencia player now we are proper fucked over.
