mkh 627
@JacobsBen: Acheampong (situation) is complicated as Chelsea value him & genuinely think he's not too far off being a serious player for the club. Bournemouth already made an inquiry & said they were very serious about making a bid. it was shut down ~2 weeks ago by CFC. Iraola play the progressive football from the back. Would like to see this happen. Tremendous talent and glad the board are not wanting to sell him. Serious talent. Signings we've made and linked to indicate a return to Maresca's plan A formation from majority of last season where Gusto looked 3rd tier and Acheampong looked comfortable like a seasoned pro. Is what we'll be using rather than the Plan B that used in CWC where Gusto is good in. Plus Acheampong can play multiple positions and RCB has solid options but still open for him to take over. Fulham Broadway 17,367
24 minutes ago, Stats said: How are United making all these transfers and contemplating more, without one sale yet. Wasn't United making staff redundant because their financial situation was supposed to be so bleak... True. They were using that as excuse to chuck people on the scrapheap. They're being cute, spreading the cost of the payments over the whole of the contract. Also Rashfords salary about 325k a week is paid by Barca and they have millions from sell on clauses coming in. I think it’s more to do with if they don’t get champions league football again for a few years they are fucked financially, is this a rash attempt to get back into the top 4 if so it’s either extremely brave or stupidity at its highest Edited August 6 by YorkshireBlue

Monster outlay in a desperate attempt to get UCL football. Because they’re fucked if they allow the current top 4 to run away from them and lock them out like it looked as though they would thus far in the window. With their debt situation they NEED to be in the UCL going forward or they’re screwed. Baleba + Donnarumma to add to Cunha, Mbeumo, and Šeško would surely be £300m+ window. All players I rate other than Šeško. Vesper

Answer is creative accounting mainly the stretching of payments over the whole contract. Stats and Vesper

BHAFC do not plan to sell this summer & all sides aware move may be unrealistic. But MUFC keen + should know in coming days if plausible or not. (David Ornstein & Fabrizio Romano) Surprised it's taken this long for someone's interest in him to be made public. Brighton recruit so well. They've been in the shadow of their noisy neighbours for years now. Growing up in London they were the top club - half the kids supported London clubs the other half Man Utd. Talk to any Utd fan now and theyre still royally fucked off - mainly because of the parasitic Glazers who borrowed hundreds of millions against the club, quietly syphoning millions into their personal accounts, and saddling the club with the debt - FC United and all that. So fast forward Radcliff has used creative accounting and chucked money about like theres no tomorrow to win over the fans -(even though he said the club could be bankrupt by Chtristmas)

CucurellatheCat 23
Brighton want £100M odd for him apparently The tea ladies are tooling up over this kind of spending lol They probably saved like £10m max doing that then spend like £200-£300M lol

I could maybe see us accepting them giving us a big chunk this summer and another installment next summer. But you’re almost certainly correct that if we demand it all at once there’s no chance Newcastle pay £80m.

Jackson scored 3 less goals in the premier league than this sesko fella did in the farmers league yet that muppet is worth 80? And ours isn’t 😂

Very desperate we should hope!
