What are the other exclusive examples he got right? Reporting what has been covered elsewhere first doesn't count.

I'm sure he's on the club's targets list but whether we actually go for him is another question. The reasons mentioned in the article are rather obvious and have been mentioned by like most Chelsea fans.

Everytime I see Jadon Sancho comment on Tammy Abraham's Instagram, I am convinced this is happening

Sancho would be a huge statement from Chelsea, bring in Chilwell and a world class centre back and we’re challenging for the league next season .

Striker needed, Tammy cannot play 5200 minutes and Bats is pants

Same fella who claimed Golovin to Chelsea was a done deal, only for Golovin to end up going to Monaco.

It was, until another Russian oligarch literally intervened the same day and scuppered the deal, which came out of nowhere, so I do not really blame the journo as we were waiting with barristers to do the deal that day

We dodged a fucking bullet btw with Golovin

It all depends on the journalist. Nizaar Kinsella has actually been very reliable for Chelsea stuff in the past year or two. So this is really good news.

Most other journalists on goal are completely useless.

Are goal any more reliable now than they used to be?

It doesn't matter. Sancho to Chelsea is no brainer. We don't have to be journalists (which I actually am) to believe this because of the things we know.

Sancho is English and one of the biggest prospects in the football. He will be available because we all know Dortmund is a selling club. He is a Chelsea fan. Chelsea will spend big due to not spending previous summer because of the ban. We also need right winger badly.

We will spend for sure but whether we will spend 100 million+ on a single player is a different matter. We all know that we need to improve other areas in the squad as well and each position is gonna cost a lot as well. Bombing, I don't know, half of our transfer budget on one player hardly screams wise spending. Plus, I also don't really want the team to become too pro-youth. A bit more experience players - to replace the outgoing ones - to complement out current youth lot would be nice.

The same way Lukaku was a Chelsea fan, at a club who sell (Everton after we sold him), who was going to resign here because he wanted to prove himself here after loans, being sold and whatever else bla bla bla, before be ended up chosing United over us?

Its easy to put 2+2 together and assume things. Theres still different angles and views, personally if he has the choice to choose between us and some of the teams hes linked with, I dont think he will be coming here and I could see why.

Even then, the big money weve recieved or will receive, I still doubt we will go mad and spend 100m or more (he could potentially go for 150m if he has a very good 2nd half of the season) for a player who has only played 18 months of first team football. Another concern I think the club and Frank will see is that he has shown discipline and punctuality problems in the last 3 or 4 months as well as the whole scapegoating thing which I think all are part of a pretty ridiculous ploy to accelerate a move from Dortmund.

People also think that players being fans of certain teams makes it an absolute cert they will go there. It doesnt neccessarily make a difference. There will undoubtedly be a bidding war for Sancho this January or in the summer, whoever pays Dortmunds price will get him and thet will get a huge fee over 100m if it goes how I think it will (they say hes avaliable to leave in the summer when all the big clubs prefer to do business).

He realistically could have United, City, us, Liverpool, PSG, Real, Bayern and Barca all going for him if the rumors are to be believed. I do think we will be nowhere near the favourites, I mean Barca, Real and Bayern even if they are in a bit of a mess, they still get pretty much most players willing to walk to their stadiums to sign for them. If they are geniunely in for him is another matter but I do think Bayern and Barca will most likely be as well as Liverpool.

Steady. To challenge for the league we would also need to see a big improvement in Kepa and I would argue a physical CM who can break up play as at the moment we let the ball go from front to back way too quickly.

Anyway, on to Sancho. I said a couple of weeks ago that I thought this was a possibility and got laughed at but I do think this is could happen. Firstly, I say this because I think Sancho has decided to engineer a move away for himself. I think this because before two or so months ago, we heard nothing about his behaviour or attitude then all of a sudden it starts becoming a big issue which I find odd especially since Dortmund did not have to go through the hassle of signing him to a new contract and could have just sold him last Summer for mega bucks. The second reason, follows on from the first, in that this turn in behaviour seems to have coincided directly with his ramping up of social media love in with the young Chelsea players. Third reason is that he is both a declared Chelsea fan and has stated that at some point in his career he would like to play in London as it is his home and he has been away for a long time (although in the same interview he does say that he feels comfortable playing in Germany as his Manchester move got him used to being away from home.)

The question however, is, is this a good idea? Personally, I think their are other areas that need work before AM, namely CF2, LB and CB. However, at the same time Sancho at £100m and £200k a week is estentially replacing Hazard's costs. Further, I think Jan (if we can sign players) is going to be difficult getting the right quality.

I mean anyone thinking that Chilwell is a possibility in Jan must be smoking crack as Leicester are never selling then as they have a great chance of CL qualification and are sort of in the title race. So, no way they sell then as it is not as if his price will go down dramatically between Jan and Summer. At CF I do not see anyone who is good enough that would be avaiable in Jan. Werner for instance will not move until Summer as Leipzig could win the Bundesliga. At CB Dias is a possibility due to his buy out but some questions would need to be asked over activating that. Players like Romagoli will not leave midseason.

For me, the only two players of the right level quality wise that we have been linked with that could be avaiable in Jan are Sancho and SMS. Questions can be asked about the need for them over other positions but it may be the case of getting what you can now and fixing the other problems later. That way, you get the right level players rather than substandard ones that end up a waste of money or only short term fixes. Personally, the only position I can see outside of CM, AM (and possibly CB), in Jan is LB. However, I am thinking more of Emerson being sold to Juve and then buying a Telles type player, see how that goes, as even if that does not work out, overall it would not cost us much and we could still target Chilwell in the Summer.

You said Leipzig won't sell Werner in January because they are in the title race. I doubt Dortmund will sell Sancho next month either when they are also in the title race, unless someone pays an obscene amount of money for him.

If we're talking about the transfer fee and wages, then sure, Sancho is replacing Hazard but if we're talking about the squad building, positions etc, then it becomes less clear cut.

I think if the players are quality like Sancho, I don't mind spending that extra 30 mil
