Chelsea Transfers

From João Pedro’s POv it’s probably wiser that he goes to Newcastle where Callum Wilson is/has left and Isak has a spotty injury record over the years. He’d get more playing time as a starter there than here I would think.

I’m trying to picture in my head where or how we’d play with him. Minutes as a lone #9 seem unlikely.

People complaining about Gittens and Bundesliga signings, but don't want to acknowledge we won the UCL with Werner and Havertz starting, and Pulisic playing a big role.

Think its more to do with those players not really living up to the hype throughout their time at Chelsea, rather than the UCL win.

Pulisic had his moments of pure class at Chelsea.

You can probably add Nkunku to that list now, came with so much hype and seems to have regressed quite a bit this season.

I think the only way we get Kudus is if we include a player going the other way, which WHU don't want as they want the full amount.

Apprantly they're quite keen on Hall. That may be one to look at as a PSR dual transfer e.g. Hall for £30m, Kudas for £50m or something similar.

KDH will hardly get a sniff next season there is so much competition in that midfield if players stay fit

Exactly. He will need to be shifted and WHU are one of the few clubs reportedly interested. However, he is a bit of a hard sell and WHU needs some funds. This for me could be similar to Maatsen/Kellyman and Conor/Gallagher minus the pure profit bit.

Would you think you can chase the title with Malick Fofana , Joao Pedro or Jamie Kittens ?
This squad needs 3-4 top signings who will make significant impact .

I think most people would agree, but what we class as top players the board class the likes of Gittens, Pedro and Fofana as exactly that. These players won't elevate us to PL winning trophies, these are players that fit right withing the wage structure in hope that they improve massively and quickly and within 3/4 years can be sold for double what we paid....a cash wheel

Guessing you mean Felix/Gallagher 😆

As for the trade we did with Villa, is that kid ever going to make an appearance at Chelsea?

I hope to fuck we revisit that Maignan situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sanchez is our keeper on opening day of the season.

Get the feeling that we won't get Maignan unless one of the existing keepers is sold/moved on.

Neither would I, we have a habit of loving middle of the road players, see Sanchez and incoming Gittens
