Sad how right he is.

He may end up being correct in the end but I 100% guarantee that this guy has never seen Jorgensen play before just like most of us. So to say something like this before the season even starts is just hating on Chelsea as usual.

If we end up still signing Omorodion after all this I’m going to be devastated, ngl. Just saw someone on my Twitter timeline saying it’s still possible.

I really don’t get why Atleti are apparently digging their heels in so hard on Felix. They very clearly have no desire to use him and have been perfectly okay loaning his ass out multiple times, including to a direct La Liga rival! Plus, we’ve already given them over £10m from when he was here last time.

Feels like they’re refusing to be flexible/reasonable at all. Meanwhile, we’ve agreed to give them a fantastic bargain price for Gallagher who, if he were being sold to a PL club, would be going for £45-50m. Yet for them we lowered the price all the way down to what should be a super affordable price.

Worst case scenario, he’s absolute rubbish

Even if he scored 19 it's the same thing. He was bought for the striker role, a striker's job is to score, a normal striker is supposed to reach 15-20 goals a season, he is basically given a raise because he is doing what any normal striker should be doing, it's absolutely baffling. He should get a raise for doing something outside the normal 25-30 or at least be consistent for consecutive seasons.

As I said a complete joke and I'm not surprised you missed the point.

He was the 5th best striker in the league in his first season, 14 goals no penalties..... Palmer scored 9 penalties, if Jackson was the penalty taker like most strikers at the club and he scored all 9 he would be sat in 23 goals if he only scored 5 he would be sat on 19 goals, to say we are promoting mediocrity is insanity.

At this point I think the biggest PL clubs like ourselves and City are so powerful that I’m not even convinced any sort of catastrophic punishment will stick. The armies of lawyers and years long legal battles/appeals would make actual punishment take ages.

If there's black & white proof of wrongdoing (the City investigation has seemingly been ongoing for years already), what can they dispute?

Our situation is quite different seeing as it happened under previous ownership & we have cooperated whilst City knowingly hide stuff.

We’re definitely getting a striker bomb this week from a player we’ve never been linked to...

Keep as far away from Brighton as possible.

Hearings about City breaches start mid September.

I do find it pretty amusing seeing all these outlets/pundits/journalists releasing their PL predictions and picking us to finish significantly lower than we did last season. It’s pretty clear that most of them didn’t pay attention to what happened last season or what we’ll have this season that we didn’t last.

We had a shambles of a season last time with a ridiculous injury catastrophe and literally the youngest squad by average age in the league. We had a bunch of brand new players that clearly took a long time to settle. Some massive players that were meant to be key performers missed basically the entire season. And yet despite all of this we still finished within a few points of 4th. Had we now drawn to a couple of teams we would ordinarily batter we’d be in the UCL places now.

Yet you see some of these guys predicting us to finish between 7th-10th. We’ve got Nkunku, Lavia, and soon (hopefully) Reece back, we’ve now got players in that I genuinely think will be really good, and we’ve got players who should be fully settled in by now like Enzo/Caicedo/Nico Jackson etc. PLUS whoever else we sign from here.

There is nobody who can convince me sitting here right now that Villa, Newcastle, and Spuds should finish above us. Hell, even Man United whose business I’m not impressed at all about in the attacking areas.

After a four year investigation from breaches going back to 2009. Might as well hand them another title in the meantime, then.

I know everyone wanted City relegated to the National League and Pep thrown to the prison posse by 5pm on the day the charges dropped, however that isn't how things work and this case seeing the light means that City could be in real trouble.

One thing I don't get with the view that City are going to get a slap on the wrist is the following:

a) why did the PL drop 115 charges on them

b) why did the PL even charge them if they are only going to bend over down the line, as they didn't need to do this.

c) why have City gone as far as to counter sue the PL if a deal was in place.

d) how does letting City do what they want help out the other PL clubs, who are the other ones that 'own' the PL?

The reason this has taken so long is owing to legal due process. Civil cases always taken longer. Look at how long the Post Office scandal (for example) has taken to come out etc.

It's probably because of who they are and the EPL's lack of notable action thus far. Do the FA actually have it in them to make an example of City, or are the likes of Everton & Forest their main concerns?

Given who the likely alternative is, that's fine by me.
