Even if they want to flip him like a burger surely another season in the Premier League would increase his value to 40-50m. What's the point of selling him for 25m now.

This is our last window before FFP hits like a train. They know they have to create a cushion in case we do not have good sales.

We stand no chance of getting calafiori. Every top club is chasing him after his euro performamces plus he gives me the vibe of someone who will stay in Italy his entire career.
From the players we have been persistently linked with, I hope we just end up with Anselmino and David. Hope we dodge the rest of the dross

Inter or Juve will snap him up IF he decides to stay in Serie A for his career.

Giorgi Mamardashvili turns 24 in September, already has 21 caps for a national team that never quailfied for a major tournament until he and KK came along, (and now they made it to the knockout stage in their first finals try) plus he also already has around 17,000 topflight minutes

he has been (by far) the best GKer at the Euros

watch that Portugal game and you see the absolute class:

I'm a big fan. I've been keeping an eye on him at Valencia for a while, and like most others, I'm shocked that nobody has really pursued him.

My remark about my age was directed towards our transfer dealings as a whole.

If Bologna really hold out for the figure that's been going around (likely to increase if Italy process), I don't see anyone in Italy being able to afford him.

Got to be a specialist in niche random children to know anything about our transfer targets.

Barely seen an exciting transfer rumour this summer. They might turn out to be exciting with the benefit of hindsight in 3 years time, but in the here and now only Olise, Alvarez and Sesko have been somewhat interesting rumours this summer for XI candidates.

he is around 6 feet 2 inches, so good height

looks to be strong and creative in the air

I am sure he can play as a CF

Same was said of Havertz and then also Nkunku. Why don’t we just sign an actual CF who is proven at a respectable level? Just kill 2 birds with 1 stones. We already have Jackson as a younger player who needs to learn, no point having 2. These idiots running football recruitment will never learn.

Now we are also after Dewsbury-Hall and likely to get it done. This window is fucked already. Another average player who wouldn’t start at a top top team to go along with Tosin Adarabioyo. Why are we signing squad players when we need quality for the first 11? Fucking joke.
