Piatek, Cavani, alcacer, Bruno Fernandes lots of goalscorers moving clubs yet we are either not gonna get anyone or ending up with se washed up has been. Typical. When a tiny club like Hertha get Piatek why can’t we even get anything done. We know the answer.

Hertha have big ambitions

they just got biggest investment deal in German football history over the summer and are committed to buying a lot of quality

they also hired Jürgen Klinsmann as the new manager 2 months ago

I know. They still are a tiny club and we could have gotten Piatek if we really made an effort. When those 224m are spend Hertha will be right where they left off. Klinsmann is clueless, building a Team of mercenaries that will have no Long term success in Bundesliga. Wolfsburg, Schalke, Leverkusen , Gladbach, Bayern, bvb Leipzig will be ahead of them for longer than their ambition will burn. All they can Achieve is a few places higher in mid table.
don’t get me wrong. Berlin has great potential as the largest city and cultural capital Of Germany but the way their project is shaped it is bound to fail.

the irony is they are doing exactly what German tradition clubs have slated English clubs, hoffenheim and rbl for just dumber.

I would sell him in a heartbeat.

£25m and he is theirs

that is under 30m euros so Barca saves face (they just offered 100m euros for Richarlison ffs, they have money to burn)

and ffs buy Boga (he costs basically half of that £25m via the buyback clause)

put the other £12.5m in the kitty to buy Josh Maja as 3rd striker in the summer

done and dusted

if we renew that cunt Willian at his 200K PW demand for 2 years

that means

we will flat out lose £75m

versus selling him in 2018

£65m in lost fees (as he is worthless in summer 2022, as he turns 34 at the end of it)

and an extra 10m or so quid in wages versus what we would pay a 2nd winger (not Sancho) over the next 2 years

plus we get FUCKED as a 32 and 33yo Willian is going to be pure dogshit in terms of play

truly at wit's end all week long

the lack of LB dealings is just insane

Chelsea ‘aghast’, Giroud ‘anxious’ with Inter Milan behaving badly

Deal collapsing, doing us and OG dirty

https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2020/1/29/21114223/chelsea-aghast-giroud-anxious-with-inter-milan-behaving-badly-report

Inter Milan have strung Olivier Giroud and Chelsea along for most of the month, but now appear to have no real desire to acquire the veteran center forward, who’s been reduced to an afterthought so far this season.

Inter had reportedly agreed personal terms with Giroud as well as provisional terms with Chelsea over a transfer fee, but they apparently don’t actually want to spend any money on a backup striker. And while they’re supposedly telling Giroud that they’d still like him to join in the summer (for free), that does Giroud little good since he wants and needs minutes before the summer in order to ensure his spot on the French national team for Euro 2020.

France's RMC (via GFFN) report that Chelsea are "aghast" at this “unprofessional” bad behavior from Conte’s Inter — as we should be — while Giroud himself is understandably "anxious" about his own prospects — as he should be as well.
