I see it like this...

Enzo and Cucu are sold, Sanchez remains number 1 with Penders around him. We sell Garnacho, keep Gittens and Jackson is brought back to play second fiddle to Joao Pedro and possibly start on the left for Garnacho. Hato becomes our LB, with Colwill and new CB partner or Josh with James at RB. Caicedo stays and is played with Santos in MF, forward line Estevao/Palmer, Pedro, Jackson

It's why I can see us only bringing in two signings maximum

But I think they had mentioned three players. I believe they still need to bring in a left-back, but I'm not sure. I’d say a left-back, a center-back, and maybe one more player in attack or midfield. I think three at most, maybe four, but not more than that

Spuds, a team who stayed in the PL by the skin of their teeth, are moving in the transfer window like we should be doing. They clearly had rock solid plans in place and moves for the targets De Zerbi gave the green light to ready to go. They may well make 4 signings before we’re even properly linked with anyone. Senesi, Robertson, Savinho, and Van Hecke. The two CB’s I’d take here so I think those are great signings for a club in their position.

I meant signings that Alonso has input on. Not ones made 100% by the board.

Didn’t expect any signing to be through the door yet at this point but would’ve thought we’d see some reports by now giving us some more concrete links to players. So far it’s just kind of loose links with unrealistic names we probably have no chance of getting.

We’re seeing numerous big PL rivals putting bids in for players already. I wanna start seeing that with us soon.

The pace we move in every transfer window is more concerning than the actual signings we make.

I'm not having these people saying it's 'it's only June' other clubs are shifting into gear and buying already. For me the players needed and wanted should have been more or less identified, but we have seen it all before, when we are not sleeping we are low balling people, getting knock backs and missing out on main targets.

All i'm reading is Jackson is coming back, Barco is ours, Penders may come back, some fucking no mark from Juventus is linked and Liam Delap wants to stay and play...fuck me

Liverpool got Iraola and he likes his wingers/forwards.  With Salah going, can see them going hard for Barcola as they want Diomande but he's keen on PSG.

Yep, spot on. It really lends credibility to the reporting that our finances are fucked and that we are handcuffed until we start shifting players out.

The fact that we haven’t really even seen a name linked with us at CB despite us being in desperate need of at least one says it all. All we’ve seen is reporters putting out denials that the club is interested in some of these CB’s that are going elsewhere.

Spurs already had Senesi/Robertson lined up, they just needed to avoid relegation.

Finances are likely screwed without european football money and also finishing mid-table doesn't help with PL revenue. 

If only the players didn't forget how to play football for 7 games under Liam, we would be in one of the Europe competitions and better off.

What are we going to do if we can't sell them in time? Just not sign anyone and finish midtable again?

Either way they're going to go and get a CB, so just go and get it done. There are actually a fair few good options still available (for now).

gonzalo garcia would be a good back up imo. much rather would have him over donkeys jackson and delap.

feel bad for mastantuono if that tweet is right. he just got there...

camawinga is a good player but not what we need. we need a player who is a bigger threat from the midfield for the opponenets goal than him. someone like enzo fernandez...

Camavinga would be an excellent option because he covers the midfield and can also play as a left-back. Gonzalo García would be an interesting backup, but we would have to offload Delap and Jackson. As for Vlahović, he is demanding an absurd salary. I don’t believe that for a second.

I'm sure work is going on behind the scenes on transfers. 

He's starting at Cobham in July because the players start arriving then.

There's a long way to go before van Hecke signs. I can see Liverpool and Chelsea both coming in

The key thing there is that De Zerbi knows him well from Brighton. So that probably gives them a big leg up on everyone else interested in him.

Makes sense that Spurs would try to sign him but I would be surprised if he chooses Spurs for De Zerbi
