we bought pedro for 60M euros. ofc, if we sell him, we need to demand at least 80M euros or much more

i assume his price has went up much more than that. anyways, even if its just 80m, we dont have to sell him so his price should autmatically be even higher.

1 hour ago, whats happening said:

there are literally less than 5 class strikers who are available and are on the same level with pedro

indeed

and all are older, except for Hugo Ekitiké, who is 9 months younger than Pedro

here are all the CFs I rate at Pedro's level of above  (I do not count the 3 ancients, Lewa, CR7, and Benz)

strike-throughs are not available

in order of valuation

Erling Haaland soon turns 26yo
Kylian Mbappé  turns 28yo in December
Ousmane Dembélé turned 29yo today
Alexander Isak (perhaps they might sell but what a MASSIVE dice roll, and I so doubt Pool sells, as when healthy he can be a beast, he turns 27yo in 4 months
Julián Alvarez   turns 27yo in January
Hugo Ekitiké turns 24yo in a month, plus is out until 2027 with a horrid Achilles rupture (Pool are now so cursed)
Lautaro Martínez  turns 29yo in 3 months
Victor Osimhen turns 28 in December

then my 2 personal targets to replace Pedro IF he is sold and IF we fail on the 3 CFs in bold above:

Junior Kroupi could soon be at Pedro's level in a year or 2, he turns 20yo next month, he has 12 EPL goals in basically half a full EPL season's minutes as a teen

Rayan Bournemouth's other teen striker, has 7 goals in only 1000 minutes, with 5 of then in the EPL, and he deffo can play CF too

Sell Pedro. Put out briefs about signing Osimhen, Alvarez, Lautaro and sign Kroupi/Rayan 😅

Still, it looks like Pedro will be leaving for Barca.... That would be a major blow. Disastrous if you ask me.

Emegha is hated at Strasbourg, he is another pretentious player with no brain like Mudryk, Garnacho, Sancho, etc. Very toxic is the guy. BlueCo consistently makes the mistake at looking at the stats of the player, the data, but not the personality, which is as important, if not more important than anything else.

🗯🔵Chelsea, Tottenham, Man United, and Liverpool are all fighting to sign Marcos Senesi.

(@CLMerlo)

💥🔵Chelsea have little desire to part with Joao Pedro, but the asking price for the Brazil international will be closer to €100m.

👌Kylian Mbappé: “I have a great relationship with Xabi Alonso. He will be a great manager. Everyone knows what I think about him.”

The super long contracts have bitten us in the ass a few times when players have been shit, but it is definitely a huge benefit with players who have performed. JP being contracted for another handful of years means we have zero reason whatsoever to even consider his sale.

Much like Caicedo, he also strikes me as a guy who will be loyal to the club who gave him this opportunity to make the jump to a huge club. At least in the short term. That loyalty of course has to be repaid with success on the pitch going forward and if we have another season like this one next year then these guys will rightly want out.

I think Barca go hard after Alvarez. They’ll be met with a 100m+ valuation for JP from us which will hopefully make them fuck off.

🫩🔵Simon Phillips commented yesterday on the rumors surrounding Joao Pedro as follows:

What really worries me about the rumors surrounding Joao Pedro is that I know he’s desperate to move to Barcelona.

That’s why he asked Raphinha about it and asked his agent to look into it, etc.…
