if we sell nkunku, we will go for simons

The question is whether we’ll be able to sign both Garnacho and Xavi if it’s Nkunku sold and Jackson only loaned. Haven’t really seen any reporting on whether that’s doable.

The question is...

Why won't anyone buy Nicholas Jackson  😢

He's shit and overrated. If he is that good, Barcelona wouldn't want to sell him. People who want Lopez also wanted Gallagher to stay. They like this kind of player

you simply do not have a predictive record here of necessary import that gives you the standing needed to be taken seriously in re such a definitive call

I was happy to see Gallagher go. I'd want Fermin here though.

The logic of "If he is good, why would they want to sell"? or "*Insert team name* fans all say he is terrible so we shouldn't buy him" don't mean anything.

Barcelona sold Neymar - I guess he was shit? We sold Hazard. R9 was sold so many times in his career. Ashley Cole got sold. Why did Liverpool sell Suarez.

I'm just going to stop because this reactionary board would eat itself with backwards logic brought to light.

The difference is, Barcelona and Chelsea didn't want to sell Neymar and Eden. But Barcelona is begging Lopez to leave the club.

We HAVE TO get Xavi Simons. He's the real deal.

Fermin is obviously a good player but I feel Simons is the better player, the thing is he loves Barcelona the only reason he would leave is better wages and his wag wanting to live in London. Simons wants to be here because of us, not because of money he waited for us all summer, bring him the fuck home.

Nkunku details: Chelsea starting request to AC Milan was around £34.5m + add ons. Milan want to offer something around £25.8m + add ons. Very concrete negotiation ongoing.

(@FabrizioRomano)

So around 35m with add ons that's pretty good.

I do not know why everone is so hyped about simons. OK he is a good player and is doing OK (not exceptional) in the german bundesliga.

Nearly every player who joined us from the bundesliga was not good enough. I think simons will be the next nkunku. in 2 years everone will be hoping that he will leave on a permanent deal.

i was more optimistiv on nkunku when i saw him in the bundesliga than now on simons.

would move to another target and for me personally garnacho is the better deal with more potential. and i know they dont play the same position.

BUT i hope he will prove me wrong 😉

I think tons of clubs would easily get him for 40m. Two PL seasons with double digits goals is great for curriculum vitae. But price being quoted is 60 to 80m.

Roma wants George only because Sancho thinks he is too good for them. Soon he'll be in Turkey or something.

I doubt Roma would pay anywhere near Sancho's current wages, maybe he's not keen on taking a paycut to leave United (similar to Sterling at Chelsea).

BREAKING: Chelsea and AC Milan are expected to finalise a deal for the transfer of Christopher Nkunku this Thursday! They are close to finding common ground for a transfer between £34 and £38 million, including bonuses.

The problem with Jackson is numerous things- the price we want is apparently 70/80M, he isn't a striker that warrants that amount, he's simply not that good and his discipline is awful. Newcastle have moved away and are obsessed with Strand-Larssen and would never in a million years pay 70/80M for Jackson hence the 55M improved bid for Larssen.

Then we are dealing with Italian and German clubs, we all know what they are like absolute cheap skates who want everything for nothing, but you ask about their players are quoted 100M for a complete nobody. We are selling Nkunku for a low price because we have been backed into a corner because of the Simons thing, and the last thing we want is Nkunku being here after September 1st, that would be a disaster.
