The Saudi offer must be colossal, he actually took paycut after paycut to try and revive his career. Sad to see him give up on his career so early but least we got our money back. Sterling next please.

He was keen on a Benfica reunion just last week, guessing they moved onto another player?

I saw him many times and listen to a podcast by a Juventus-fan journalist every week, I understand he is quite controversial in Turin. Super talented, but still very raw and incosistent. He might blow up, but might also end up like Rafael Leao who is still like this at 26.

Good information thank you.

I have only seen Yildiz in the Club World Cup and was impressed. I don't claim that this is enough to contradict people who have seen him play more often than I have. I do however contrast the impression he made on me with my thoughts about Raphael Leao. As my post history will show, Leao never impressed me at all and I consistently argued against us signing him. Based on my own limited viewings I therefore have no choice but to feel that Yildiz is the better of the two.

I do though think that the opinions of fans, and especially fans of the player's own club are worth considering. For example, it was the views of Leicester City fans which made me doubtful about us signing Ben Chilwell.

Like most i like KDH but he doesnt have a position in the 2 formations Maresca uses that there aren't multiple better options at.thats not an insult to him there's just alot of talent at his positions.the rare minutes he would get or starts in cup games against lower level teams can easily be covered by our youth.Walsh,Rabbaj,SRS etc...

I'm aiming to get down to Kingsmeadow a few times next season to take a look at this Rabbàj kid. I'm especially hoping he will make the uefa Youth League squad.

Nicolas Jackson has been added to the list of attacking targets at Newcastle!

(@CraigHope_DM)

If Newcastle miss out on all of their preferred targets, I can see them looking at Jackson as a loan option. Given the length of contract he is on, I believe we could accept that. Obviously we should require Newcastle to cover the entirety of his wages, and to pay a substantial loan fee but I see no difficulty in them agreeing to those terms.

This could be a win for Nico and for both clubs. It gets Nico a chance to blossom, gets Newcastle coverage while they decide what their permanent solution should be, and gets us two chances to win. If he does well it enhances his transfer value. If he does very well it really enhances his transfer value and brings him back into consideration for an active role in our squad. Things which are not going to happen if he spends next season as our third option striker.

Rabbaj and Dastan are definitely worth keeping an eye on both look exciting.

I once considered myself very well informed about CFC academy players because I watched a lot of games both live and through online coverage. In recent seasons however I have watched less and less. Last season I watched virtually none, so I now know only what I read and hear. I'm looking forward to catching up,

Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.

It's a great fee for CFC of course, but the move itself, if it comes off, could turn out to be great for Felix. I hope this move materialises and goes brilliantly for him.

Unbelievable that we made profit off him.

People need to give the board credit here. Everyone was on their case saying no ambition and shit moves, but they've hardly put a foot wrong since that horror first transfer window.

I wish Felix the best though. He never really complained and seems enthusiastic to get his career back on track.
