Looks a talented kid for sure but I’d rather have the PL proven and ready Kudus personally.

What exactly is PL proven about him? He's basically flopped. 5G 3A. Guy hasn't even performed as well as Noni Madueke despite playing more games.

I will give my thoughts on this later after I have been to kids football coaching, there is a big point I want to put across and how I see things panning out

If he goes, I doubt it will be down to just footballing ability. There's been previous where his attitude has come into question and with Estevao set to be part of main squad, I wouldn't be surprised to see him move on.

I'd seriously enquire about Isak should Newcastle have a real interest in him. Use any possibility leverage we have for a change.

Isak to the Geordie fans I know they idolise like we did Drogba so doubt he will be going anywhere.

His 'attitude' is 100% based on competitiveness, not sulking or downing tools - but yes can be selfish - if it was really bad he wouldnt be in the National squad. Maybe its down to Marescas mismanagement if anything.

Was excellent his first season and had a poor second one. Surely there’s still a top talent there.

Arsenal are close to reaching a verbal agreement with Sporting CP centre-forward Viktor Gyökeres (27), who wants to join the Gunners, according to L'Equipe.

I constantly keep hearing noise about their financial restraints, so I feel if not this summer, he'll be gone the next, whether the Geordies like it or not. An awful refereeing decision effectively gifted them CL as is.

Whatever the reason, if he doesn't gel with the person picking the squad, he's a goner. If we were talking about an untouchable like Caicedo or James, we would be having a completely different convo.

No brainer for me. I get that people have reservations but for me, he is a striker worth the risk for Arsenal. I think he will score for fun there.

Surprised at this. He must have been offered huge wage increase and I imagine a release clause, will be inevitable announced.

Surprised they seem to be going for Gyokeres in the end.

Yeah its all about perception/opinions. I see him as disrupter of defences with lightning speed of turn, but then 3 out of 4 ends with a low cross that is often misplaced 😅 but with the disruption defenders panic. Prob are better out there, but I dont go looking tbh. Bit like our scouts.
