he needs to play ON THE RIGHT

he is far less effective on the left wing

Yes definitely. I assume that was always only desperation. We have made signings to fix that now.

Overall it is hard to understand anything at the mo as suddenly we have Gittens and Joao Pedro and need to understand what exactly the plan is for these two. I am assuming they are playing LW.

My issue with Madueke is that it feels like he just is what he is already. He has plateaued and I don’t suddenly see him taking a leap to another level because the thing that he’s missing can’t really be coached. And that thing is decision making in the final third.

Yes, he is still a very dangerous winger if you get him isolated out on the touchline in space. He is a great outlet if you’re being pinned back by an opposing press or if there’s a quick turnover in midfield. But once he actually gets near the box he is incredibly frustrating. He also has far too many games where you don’t even realize he’s on the pitch because he’s so ineffectual.

So again, I think he’d be solid somewhere else and you’d probably have a portion of our fanbase saying we shouldn’t have sold him but I’d get rid in a heartbeat if we can nearly double what we paid for him.

That’s exactly how I see him. He looks like a player who has reached the limits of how far he can develop his footballing I.Q. We could be wrong but I’m willing to take a punt on him not developing much further than what he is.

Gets a lot of flak on here and can be frustrating, but not to the extent of Sterling.

Causes all sorts of problems for opposition defence, they often have to double up on him. hes a keep for me.

If he goes, I doubt it will be down to just footballing ability. There's been previous where his attitude has come into question and with Estevao set to be part of main squad, I wouldn't be surprised to see him move on.

I'd seriously enquire about Isak should Newcastle have a real interest in him. Use any possibility leverage we have for a change.

Looks a talented kid for sure but I’d rather have the PL proven and ready Kudus personally. Buying yet another kid who could take who knows how long to settle when we already have so many of those doesn’t seem wise.

A stepping stone club like Forest feels perfect for him.

I think Madueke is gone the rumors are ramping up now and got more and more intense each day, no smoke without fire.

I think it will be have to happen quickly with Noni going and if it is Kudus we need to step in there before Spurs tie things up

What exactly is PL proven about him? He's basically flopped. 5G 3A. Guy hasn't even performed as well as Noni Madueke despite playing more games.

I will give my thoughts on this later after I have been to kids football coaching, there is a big point I want to put across and how I see things panning out

Isak to the Geordie fans I know they idolise like we did Drogba so doubt he will be going anywhere.

His 'attitude' is 100% based on competitiveness, not sulking or downing tools - but yes can be selfish - if it was really bad he wouldnt be in the National squad. Maybe its down to Marescas mismanagement if anything.

Was excellent his first season and had a poor second one. Surely there’s still a top talent there.
