That's just hyperbole. James has played plenty of games throughout his career as central midfielder. I've read many on here suggest that due to his injuries his future may be in midfield.

Replying to your edit: I'd suggest that more time on training ground is what's needed. 

Chelsea went straight to the CWC from the Internationals, which in turn led from the end of the season. They've had very little time to integrate the new arrivals.

I know we were linked by someone several weeks ago, but would it even be possible to convince Juve to sell Yildiz? Are they in financial trouble?

Like what I see from him more than all of the other attacking players we’re linked with.

Chelsea and Dortmund are still working club to club to find an agreement for Jamie Gittens. As said before, the player has agreed to a 7-year deal with Chelsea.

Chelsea, keep working and advancing on this deal. He's the priority.

That means another season of watching Sanchez make errors in goal and fail to pass the ball out of the back but everything will be fine as we will have 60% possession of the ball in midfield and hope that Palmer pulls out magical tricks.
