Chelsea are in talks to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

His contract expires next summer and he is yet to commit to an extension, which has alerted Chelsea to the possibility of securing a deal.

There is a good chance a move to west London happens.

From what I’m seeing reading around about Maignan is that he doesn’t make silly, catastrophic errors despite being known as a great ball playing keeper. That alone means he’d be a massive upgrade on Sánchez.

Buying Maignan is a no brainer for me and a little bit of fresh air signing someone with experience
