Chelsea Transfers

I think Chelsea are on a great and successful path but still need to replace some players with better ones in the winter and summer window!!!!

-Sanchez didn't play today but not enough for our ambitions.

-Disasi wrong signing far too one dimensional player.

-Badiashile makes too many mistakes and has improved too little or not at all for almost 2 years since he arrived.

-Chilwell is not valued by Maresca, he earns a lot and is very often injured.

-Bettinelli earns almost 2 million a year and never plays in the Team Whatsapp group.

-Bergström doesn't have the necessary Chelsea level.

-KDH pointless signing was never a fan of him has not convinced me for 30m so far.

-Chukwuemeka he is also not rated highly by Maresca and will unfortunately be sold on. Chuck was also recommended by Neil Bath.

-Casadei he will also go back to Serie A in winter or summer. He was still a Neil Bath signing in 2022

-Guiu he absolutely has to be loaned out to play a lot of games to learn a lot more.

Come On Chels✍️💙

the only CMFs who were actually available (so no Valverde, no Camavinga, no Pedri, no Gavi, no Barella, no Guimarães, no Zubimendi, no Zaïre-Emery, no de Jong, no Vitinha, no Fermín López, no Mac Allister, no Gravenberch, no Szoboszlai, no Paul Wanner) in summer 2024 that I would say 'ok, I will take therm over Carney'

were

(KDH WAS NEVER ONE OF THEM)

bold are still available this coming summer

João Neves
Teun Koopmeiners
Douglas Luiz
Éderson
Khéphren Thuram
Quinten Timber
Pablo Barrios

pretty sure that is it

I am so depressed that we are going to dump Carney (more than likely) and yet low talent KDH will stay

what a fucking stupid buy KDH was

not Drinkwater bad, not at all, but still it is on the same road

💬Chelsea are looking to part with more players in January and Carney Chukwuemeka will be one of the players leaving.

FC Barcelona have identified Chukwuemeka as a target and the Blues are willing to consider offers in the region of £30 million for him this winter.

The 21-year-old midfielder is a fringe player in Maresca's squad and has made just one appearance this season, in the Carabao Cup. Although he is considered a great talent, he is seen as a player Chelsea could sell in the coming transfer window.🗯

Genuinely. What was the point in signing him?

Good question
He came on the recommendation of Neil Bath There was no sporting director or new scout from the current Chelsea.

I once read that the new Jewell,Shields,Stewart,Winstanley and Co. only want players in the team that they have scouted and selected themselves.

Well we are destined to be average forever then!

Shields is the hot shot right now. And so far he merits picking up the players more then any other.

Until I see otherwise he is doing good so far.

Winstanley and Stewart also seem to have good eye on strikers too. Gyorkeres, Duran, Omoradion, and Jackson have done very well so far.

It's just defenders and GK's they are so bloody awful at.

Yes it seems we need a scout for defense. Because most of these scouts as you mentioned are more for attack minded targets.

Kind of of like when Poch did not want a set piece specialist to come and work with us. Arsenal did that and it has done great for them.

Likewise we need to get some defense specialist that can help balance the attack minded scouts and set up we have.

We've had one in the house for a while now called John Terry🤩

Agree with you the scouts responsible for goalkeeper scouting is Ross Turnbull, Ben Roberts and James Russell 🫣 and defense would have to be reworked

Brighton, for example, have special scouts for each position ✍️

Maybe but shouldn’t the priority when signing a player be that they envision them playing for us? But they did the same with Angelo too. Suppose Carney’s wages may be a stumbling block and may result in a lower fee.

I mean I imagine the likes of Santos, Casadei, Ugochuwku, Guiu will all probably be expendable and go the same way also but again, the first thought when signing a player should be can they contribute on the field. Suppose we did this with Roman too with the loan army, so much for project 2030/being different than the previous regime eh?

ok

I am losing the plot probably

but

Chris Wood (12 league goals in only 1500 minutes on a shit team)

could be a 'poor man's Giroud' signing

he still is only 32yo too, not like some 35, 36 yo last hurrah type

533f41805ba435d0d7e68d8df6223f68.png

this is looking better and better

he now has 7 EPL goals this season alone (in only around 700 minutes)

on a hat trick tonight

22 goals in his last 2900 minutes, all but 1 are EPL goals
