Good player who suits Liverpool to the ground IMO. £37m is a snip and proof you don’t need to spunk £50-60m to get good players. Plenty scope for improvement, shocked United didn't make him their priority when Ronaldo left although aye its maybe cause he’s not a natural 9. Not buying us getting this Fernandez deal done - 120m euros in January, or higher on a structured deal which they may not even accept, is incredibly unlikely. We’ve spent £60m on Nkunku already for the summer, signed Fofana for somewhere between £10-15m (apparently), Andre Santos is close to coming for £13m and the CB from Monaco is apparently another £30-35m. So I doubt it. Just seems very football manager/FIFA career mode to spend £250m in the summer then spend another say £230-250m in January. And you can see at the World Cup he’s a very diverse player in terms of how he can play as a focal point, a 10 or from the sides. Not the level of Suarez (and maybe wont ever reach that level) but I would say a very similar type of find in terms of the age profile, the flexibility he can offer, the experience he’s already got also. Pizy 19,280
Reports on the same day that we’re trying to extend both J5 and Kante. That’s actually extremely surprising. Not sure how it makes sense that we’re after another midfielder then unless AT LEAST 1 leaves this coming month.

LOLOL Nothing against winning the Euro but he's gone without qualifying for the WC twice now. Failing out of the group stage his only participation. His club/domestic accomplishments are hardly inspiring when you consider his quality. Winning Ligue 1 with PSG is the equivalent of winning a bicycle race with a Formula One vehicle. A player of his quality should've been destined for greater things.

Hashishi 148
I for one am happy we are renewing Jorgi and Kante. They are both quality players and can provide depth even when the new generation comes in. Kante might even accept a lower wage to stay because he loves the club and brings a great personality. Jorgi, although not the best DM for the prem, is an excellent depth option in games where we control most of the possession. A midfield 3 of Enzo, Caicedo and Mount can boss most teams and we would have depth in Jorgi, Kante and Kovacic.

I think he means just because he chose to play in a farmers league like Hakimi. You can't argue with his achievements but Ligue 1 will never be like winning the Prem. I doubt PSG win CL anytime soon, City are also gunning for it.
