i disagree with everyone here regarding barcelona. i think they made some good transfers this window and i think they are the clear favorites for the la liga next year. they are really deep with quality players all around the team except maybe the cb position.

                          Ter Stegen

     Emerson/Dest  Garcia  Lenglet  Alba

                           De Jong

                   Pedri             Saul

               Messi  Aguero  Depay

Plus Fati, Dembele are injured now. Experience players like Pique, Busquets, Roberto, Coutinho are also still there. They should be better than last season for sure. And I agree CB is biggest problem.

Newcastle went for RLC before CG but apparently the club told him that Tuchel wants to see more of RLC so they took CG and apparently it could be done by the weekend.

I hope this doesn't mean I have to watch Timmy Baka stink up the place next season. If that is the case make Bate CM4. Anything but having him trip over his own feet again.

Well, with PSG now going for Theo Hernández (my number one LB target all along, even over Chilwell, other than the unavailable Alphonso Davies)

FUCK

and Leonardo Spinazzola's career being likely ruined now because of the Achilles blowout (I think that Marina was close to closing the deal before it, as she was amongst the first to publicly wish him well as soon as he was hurt)

we are down to just 4 remotely oki LB/LWB options

Lucas Hernández (and it is so unlikely Bayern will sell him)
Nuno Mendes   (19yo with huge upside, BUT sporting are demanding £43m, and even Pep is saying nope, too much)
Robin Gosens
Ramy Bensebaini

that's it (and I have seen very few links to any of them and us)

if we do not move for any of the 4, then we should just keep Alonso

Alfonso Pedraza is a panic buy I can see us doing, IF Alonso does leave

we have no youth LB who is remotely Chels quality atm

Nicolás Tagliafico is 29yo in August, so not an option (nor do I rate him, he is a farmer league flat track bully)

Alex Sandro is 31yo in January and absolutely not a legit option
