For next season I feel comfortable with Kepa, James, Rudiger, two of Kante/Kovacic/Jorginho, CHO/Pulisic (maybe both if they keep progressing nicely) being starters. And Abraham but we need new top striker regardless. So new CB, LB, RW, CF for me. Would like us to play with Pulisic as AM. Sancho and CHO as wingers.

Pulisic should be a left winger, Odoi right (mainly due to his chemistry with Reece) while Jadon if he signs should switch between both (he does it at Dortmund) depending on which of the other is playing.

Our awful run is inconsistency pure and simple and games like today will keep happening. Our chances of finishing in the top four are up in the air and we need someone else that can score desperatly. If the board cannot see that, they are even worse than I thought.

I don't think anyone thinks Lampard doesn't want to sign anyone this month. He has been consistent in his message that we will only sign players if they are the right ones. The question is, who are the right ones this month? 

If we sign Dembele, does that mean we say bye bye to Werner? If we sign Zaha, bye bye Sancho? And none of the other names we've been linked with this month have been inspiring either. So unless the board are secretly working on a deal so secret that no one outside fucking knows, then it feels we're just trying to get players that we have been linked with and they don't scream world class/quality.

i dont think it'll be Dembele.  I think Lyon chairman Aulas cant go back on his word now.  2 public statements of he is staying, money doesnt matter.  He'd be lynched now.   The attackers they are linked with is to cover Depay i suspect.

 

I think a striker and a creative number 10 (just free role in the space between attack and midfield) are more important than left back right now

If it was me, with 2 weeks left id say fuck it.   Throw a 20m bid at spurs for Eriksen.  Mourinho is happy to sell to rivals dont forget, and Levy has said he'd sell to a prem rival.

Contact Milan and say can i hve Piatek on a loan until end of season, if he bags 10 goals-15 goals, we'll sign him permanently for 25-30m.   If they fail, you have other irons in the fire waiting

This. We are the model of inconsistency. To actually find ourselves in our position is like drawing an 11 against a 6 is blackjack. At that point you have to double down. However, as we have seen through the years when ever we are in a strong position the club does nothing as our board just think, 'oh, we are in a good position here, lets sit on our hands and hope the dealer busts'.
