Reading talkchelsea when some of our usual scapegoats (Mikel, Kalou, Torres, Malouda) give an interview about staying for a few more years is priceless [emoji23] [emoji38]

Completely invisible today, he "mikeled" the game.

Fuck me Mikel didn't even start today, came into one of the most one sided matches we've ever been involved in for however long and is STILL getting slated for wasting a 'squad place'. Typical... wankers. At least he wouldn't of been out of position as much as Fabregas or Matic both were, actually surprised he didn't start but it would of taken a lot more than Mikel starting to stop the demolishing we got today.

hahahahahhaha... this is hilarious. poor guy is on the bench, and gets slated.

i tell u something. put mikel and matic as our 2 DMs yesterday. rambo on the wing. and we probably would have got a draw. atleast we would not have been embarassed.

If Mikel played and performed as badly as Fabregas did yesterday there would have been 30 pages worth of comments in here damning his contribution.

and rightfully so, because it's a trend Mikel follows every single game, and not a trend of Cesc's.

How long can a player be bad before it is a trend?

I'd wait for 6 or 7 really unspectacular performances in a row, or clustered closely together at least, before saying its the norm for that player's ability to be his trend.

Less than that many games and its just a dip in form to me, like Cesc has when he plays shite for 2 or 3 games in a row. Mikel, Ramires, and others, are consistently downright 'bad' for plenty games in a row. They've proven they cannot be consistent top players, full stop.
