Mikel should be sold imo, he will never improve and and although defensively he may be solid he just offers next to nothing going forward. .. tbh he's just uninspiring.

Romeu has so much potential, he's a decent passer, very aggressive and presses well. I actually remember back in the AVB days he would be the only one in midfield who pressed the opposition.

So if Mikel is just wasting space at Chelsea FC, what would Romeu bring in to be considered an important part of the team? What's so special about him? His endless sideways passes? The ability to be dispossessed in his own half like no one else? I really don't get the hype around him to be fair.

Kalou had some great games 4 us, Torres has had some great games 4 us, Malouda arguable won us the EPL trophy in 2010, Mikel has been here 4 close 2 ten years never estbalishing himself into the first team, his reached his peak and is not good enough 4 chelsea especially now when we hv younger better options with a higher potential. Its better 4 us to part ways with him.

Romeu has so much potential, he's a decent passer, very aggressive and presses well. I actually remember back in the AVB days he would be the only one in midfield who pressed the opposition.

Hence why hes going out on loan. To show that potential week in week out and try and force his way past Matic and Mikel in the future. Coming back from an ACL injury, he still needs to prove he is capable of playing for a good side week in week out, cos he didn't do that at Valencia.

U clearly havent seen Romeu play he plays forward balls more often than not, and his passing is decisive together with his tackling, everythin he does is better than what mikel offers

He's played 303 times for Chelsea... Those managers didn't do a great job replacing him then did they? Besides, how many defensive midfielders have we signed since Mikel has been here? Miniero and Matic twice?

There is no hype both are not worth wearing the Chelsea shirt but atleast Romeu has more hope to improve due to his age.
