Manuf 1,448
i think that when lamps said "people judge you by your last performance" he was absolutely spot on. Yaya being better than Lamps. robdog and The Skipper

Tomo 21,751
You don't know what you have got until it's gone. This will almost certainly be the case with Mikel when he leaves.

OneMoSalah 8,886
See if Lamps plays beside Rami when hes at ACON.... then I will not be too happy. Romeu is the closest to Mikel we have, he must get his position when hes at ACON.. if not we are most likely fucked...

Amblève. 4,995
Was his substitution yesterday due to injury?I'd guess, to prevent him from being sent off and missing the Swansea game.

Milan 17,959
I'd guess, to prevent him from being sent off and missing the Swansea game.Exactly, him and Romeu were already booked and the United midfield was sometimes pretty quick for us so it would be only matter of time when one of them got second yellow. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
He was poor against Swansea. Slowed us down and seemed like he reverted back to the old Mikel...
CHOULO19 24,332
He was poor against Swansea. Slowed us down and seemed like he reverted back to the old Mikel...He was slow because the four in front of him were poor and static. It's amazing how people can't refuse to come to that obvious conclusion. pHaRaOn

It's amazing how people can't refuse to come to that obvious conclusion. He was also asked to play in the Ramires/Lampard role in the midfield which he is simply not cut out for. Can't blame him for that.
pHaRaOn 2,131
He made some good blocks and interceptions against Swansea. He was not poor.

Can't blame him for that.Yeah that too. But it really annoys me that he is expected to create passes out of nothing. If the players in front of him can't find space to receive the ball how can he pass? TorontoChelsea
Amblève. 4,995
Didn't expect Mikel to score (or at least kind of it)
Naked Mole Rat 437
I thought he was immense along with Ramires. Those two are like a brick wall.

Rmpr 8,977
I thought he was immense along with Ramires. Those two are like a brick wall.DISAGREEMikel wasnt bad, but he was positioning himself wrongly in some dangerous Shak attacks. He left our midfield exposed and that reflected in Bertrand poor performance.Ramires just got schooled by Fernandinho, but he had a good attitude towards the end of the match.
