Rested? Rested from what? :dunno:

It's nigh impossible to defend Sarri's decisions at this point. I've been patient with him and still am, but fuck... rested, while the turds on legs get run to the ground?

Buddy this is the only thing I've got against the bloke too!

I know we should have expected very little rotation after all the articles we read about him before he came but I would have expected he would have kicked a couple of them square in the gonads and played their back ups. Or at least for some of some games.

I'm still with him system wise but I do find myself banging me head against the wall at some selections.

It makes me wonder just how bad the backups are in training? Cause even me would play the best team that I had at my disposal.

This is one of the problems with our supporters. We are spoilt!!

Up until 1970 we had never won the thing! We had been to 3 finals and lost them all.

You ask our supporters up until Roman came if we would be happy with the FA Cup

Ask the academy kids who have been here since they were 6 years old dreaming about playing in the 1st team at a cup final if they want to run round Wembley shoving the losers nose into the cup.

I love the FA Cup. Fuckin atmospheres great.

The FA Cup is BIG deal to this London born and bred girl!!!

League Cup, meh, not close.

I like the FA Cup but it has become so less meaningful for whatever reason.  Even the game with the time move and seems less of a occasion these days. Don't think having the semi finals at Wembley helps though.

We're in it all to win it otherwise what's the point. A trophy is a trophy. People only remember who won what not who came runner up or nowhere near.

I bet you tho that the Scouse gits and other London teams would all like to have a couple in their cases as they have been lacking trophies of late.

That old saying familiarity breeds contempt is perfect in this instance.

I posted something  quite recently in that Memories thread about us winning the cup in 1970 Vs Leeds. And the difference in the Chelsea area now and then. And just how much the neighborhood got behind the lads and the excitement it created.

I know we are a product of our success and sometimes thats sad!

Ffs m8 horrible flasbacks of this , my cfc membership, my onside mag posted once a month was like porn lol, keep the faith tee shirts, then i got a ticket to the final easy ,ffs coming from Belfast , went over by myself ,loaded with strawberry acid and cash to burn for a 2 or 3 day bender, wow what a come down(sunny as fuck when i landed and started drinking fulham rd-soaked later), literally , 0-0 at ht and the better team (peacock hit the bar 1st half)weekend turned into a bad trip! I backed Chelsea to win fa cup that year i think at 33-1 £10ew  so it paid for some of the expenses lol

If he can start Spurs away, hardly implausible to accept the possibility he starts against United at home.

And how wrong you were eh? He couldn't even start against Malmo so how you think he was going to start against United is fucking beyond me.
