headhunter23 70
Honestly we need to get a playmaker, let torres be the undisputed number one striker for this month while drogs is out in the cup of nations, if he is a complete flop then we can buy in the summer. Either way if anyone watches the matches we dominate every game but instead of the brilliance that joey cole used to bring us we try to cross on every occasion. We need a crafty player now. In any case whether it be cavani/hulk/pato/higuain, they will not be able to play in europe, which for us should be our number one target. If we get a crafty midfielder say sneijder/krasic and torres starts firing again, we will have the "new" identity we were looking for in mata/(krasic, modric or whoever we get)/sturridge/torres
Marvin123 534
I think this means drogba has played his last game for us, we SSN says he's been offered 400k a week in China

Second best Real striker, ok he's level with Benzema, but he has less playing time han Benzema.

He's one of the best goal scorers out there. Not that I want him, though, he needs through balls more than Torres.

Joker10 946
Yeah he flopped against Barca, but seriously that is not news. There is a reason why even Kalou has the same amount of goals in the CL as Higuain.

Joelasticot 111
Yeah he flopped against Barca, but seriously that is not news. There is a reason why even Kalou has the same amount of goals in the CL as Higuain.Exactly. I understand he has amazing stats but just the fact that players wear numbers on their shirts doesn't make football a game of numbers. Real Madrid is an amazing team filled with great players, yet they play in a league where you have so many poor defences. Any decent striker would score like crazy in those games and with such a service.Don't get me wrong, I know Higuain is a good player. However he's absolutely not level with Benzema, the guy does what top class players do : he produces his best football in high profile games and when it matters. Higuain can't do that (yet...).Anyway, just sharing my opinion.
eldo 868
Benzema is better imo. Higuain is still quality though, and a very good finisher - yesterday was just not his day, it happens Benzema played 200 more minutes in Champions League. Chelsea_Fan 227
http://www.marca.com...1328189367.htmlTranslationChelsea offered 40 million Higuain But Abramovich not give up and return to the load by the Argentine summer02/02/12 - 14:29. prints sends 1037Gonzalo Higuain has been pump winter market. Chelsea made an offer of 40 million euros for the 'Pipit', that Real Madrid has been rejected. However, the decision of the English club seems firm. Roman Abramovich and André Villas-Boas Argentina's wish to have on your computer, and summer will return to Real Madrid striker load.Chelsea wants to reinforce his attack, and to get it is clear that man is Gonzalo Higuain. The Pipit, which in recent months has lost the battle for the title in Madrid before Karim Benzema, has a great lineup throughout Europe and the Premier is no exception. So much so that, according to the program "Planet America" Radio MARK, the London club has tried to achieve their hiring in the winter market just closed.Madrid has rejected an offer from Chelsea for the Pipit, which rose to 40 million euros. A tempting proposal, but has not worked to convince leaders of the plot white sport, with Jose Mourinho at the helm, you have to complete a season Higuain still provides long for whites. The club wanted to cover himself before possible injuries, penalties, or dip in form, which makes sense on a template based on the idea of Mou, front only two 'pure': Higuain and Benzema himself. The reasons for Chelsea to try the signing of Higuain are obvious: Fernando Torres remains stagnant, Didier Drogba is in the final stretch of his career and Romelu Lukaku is a bet for the future. The London club has also recently lost to Nicolas Anelka, who decided to embark on the adventure in China.Despite the recent refusal of Madrid, Chelsea seem determined to return to the load by Higuain. This summer, the London club will resume negotiations with Real Madrid, taking advantage of the excellent relations both entities.
