I didnt like it.....they have utterly ruined the story and ran over the stuff that happened in prequels. Disney fucked it up imo. This should have been the send off, it was anything but.

Saw Apocalypto after several years and man it still is a quality movie. If your display is up to the task you will get amazing PQ on BD.

Best movie of the year by far! Joker is good but I feel like something is missing. Tarantino and Scorsese also good but only Parasite is mind blowing! If this movie don't get best picture then fuck Academy!

totally agree, Parasite was amazing!!!!

Been watching a lot of movies last wee while.

Knives out was a good watch, obviously a whodunnit but there were funny moments, a few twists and overall a good cast that all tied in well with each other. Stand out performances for me was Daniel Craig especially and Ana de Armas. Theyve greenlighted a sequel based on Craigs character so be worth seeing how that spins out.

Uncut gems with Adam Sandler I must admit I enjoyed it. Didnt know what to expect because everytime you see an Adam Sandler film you think hes just gonna be doing the same shit as always like Pixels, Waterboy, Happy Gilmore, Grown Ups etc but his character was a lot more interesting and intense as is the storyline.

Ford vs Ferrari was quite decent I felt, not really into movies orientated around racing or cars but its obviously based on Ken Miles and Carroll Shelby. Christian Bale and Matt Damons bounce off each other quite well and again there are moments where Bales character loses his cool and they are quite funny, I mean who would of thought Christian Bale could portray a very angry Englishman huh? (I know he is English).

The Irishman, well what can I say? 210 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Wasnt actually a shite movie but its that long you just lose interest. I geniunely fell asleep through it the first time I tried to watch it on Netflix.

New Star Wars, I really hated the whole of this new trilogy with Daisey Ridley and John Boyega in it. I mean they really tried and had the likes of Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford but for me they really ripped the arse out of it for me and the Mandalorian TV series was 10000 times better.

Waiting for Chris Nolan's Tenet now and will try get round to seeing The Gentlemen, 1917 and Parasite this trip or next. Unsure if theyll top Joker though, I will say it again, Joaquin Pheonix is just incredible. Mad as fuck. But brilliant. Also intrigued to see Matt Reeves take on Batman but thats another year away.

Half an hour I lasted I thought it was dreadful like a big budget version of Murder She Wrote. Daniel Craig's appalling American accent and a woman who pukes up when she's lying !! I turned it off at that point. Talking of terrible accents have you seen Good Omens ? David Tennant a Scotsman plays an Englishman and Michael McKean an American plays a Scotsman. Surely David Tennant must have said that's a terrible Scottish accent why didn't you just hire a Scottish actor ?

I think Michael McKean does the voice of Groundskeeper Willie on The Simpsons and I'm pretty sure that producers believe Americans wouldn't understand an authentic Scottish accent so they just do the och aye Jimmy one. It's the same with Cockney accents there's been some dreadful ones on TV and film over the years geezer in Green Street was hilariously bad.

Ford vs Ferrari was very good, good acting too. Irishman was good imo, but cant touch Casino and the likes. The new Starwars movies have their moments but overall they never should have made them.....and the last one was just horse shit.

I must admit I thought Daniel Craigs accent made his character slightly more funny, although I can see why some people may have disliked that and Ana de Armas' character throwing up when she lies thing.

Not seen Good Omens but I think I seen the trailer for it on Amazon Prime. You'd think it would be easier just to have a Scots actor play a Scotsman but as youve said they probably want to fine tune it so it is more understandable for other nationalities outside of the UK who wouldnt understand a full blown authentic Glaswegian or whatever Scottish accent haha.

Even Tom Hardy in Mad Max and Venom, his interpretation of whatever the fuck those accents are meant to be were slightly disappointing and took away from the movies ever so slightly despite his acting being good. And hes playing Al Capone in Fonzo so his accent will either be horrific or brilliant.
