Similarly to last week, we look great in possession and are controlling the midfield. But we are playing far too slowly and that plays right into their hands. They can easily keep everything in front of them. You saw Sarri yelling at them to speed things up.

We also look super vulnerable down both flanks because we're pushed so high up the pitch. We need to start pressing high and quickening our passing up because the longer this goes scoreless the more West Ham will feel they can pip us on the counter.

Great summary. Fully agree. Lack of rotation appears to be catching up fatigue wise. Scouser cunts dead ahead on shit rest. Eeeeeek!

Kovacic hasn't looked good bar his first (sub) appearance. Need him to perform much better.

Hazard and Willian have not been good enough. And WHU have packed the centre, turning Giroud into a ghost.

Kante still searching for what he's supposed to be in this new style.

Rudiger and Luiz... just not feeling them. There's always something. Weird CBs.

Jorginho has been good on the ball.

Team's not playing well. Trying to force things through the centre when WHU obviously won't let them. Need to attack the flanks.

This always did feel like a trap game on paper.  A game we're expected to win.  But man do we look like a group who has never even trained together.  Each passer with a different idea than the receiver.  Hope we can regroup at the half and get on the same page...come on you Blues!

Have noticed this for a few matches now but Kante is not doing much in that role. Does the basic things but not getting enough from him in this position. Need to see him impose himself on the game more and use the ball, otherwise he is just not doing much on the pitch.

We also see today why Pedro is preferred as a starter to Willian. He's a big reason why we look slow in the final third. He only ever gets the ball when he's standing still. Pedro is constantly running through the lines and down the flanks and receives the ball while he's in stride. Willian just grinds our moves to a halt.

I thought Kova looked quite promising. Was picking up the ball and gliding past players with ease. Just need more of a cutting edge.

This game SO shows why we need to BUY BAILEY in January, sod the cost at this point, we can fund thru sales!!!

I would bring Pedro and Barkley in at HT. Also, if we had him, CHO for Eden at 60, 65 minutes (we need a fresh Eden for the scousers), BUT CHO, again, is not even on the bloody bench, grrrr
