Our pressing is a bit messy and our passing still need a lot of work. But jorginho and Hazard partnership is going to be tasty plus Kovacic. It is going to be a fun season. Only poor performances I saw were Barkley and Morata (there is no shock there, and tbh, Morata was not horrid, just needs to pick it up further, at least he is moving in right direction, same for Barkley, I still have hope for both cuz I LOVE OUR TEAM) Kante and Luiz were the 2 best (Eden would have been had he played whole game) Pedro came out of his funk of last two games. For me, it would be good if he came on in 65th/70th minute of the game as a regular sub. That's still very good experience for a 17 yr old, with less weight of expectation. Notice how Luiz and Alonso looked completely different players in the second half when we held onto the ball? That's how it'll continue to be I think. They'll look super vulnerable when we don't have control. I thought Morata did everything but score today. He was very good overall. Good hold up play, decent when receiving it from a Kepa long ball, few nice runs with the ball, and pressed all day long. Pedro was good, Willian decent but understandably rusty.
