I have never known a fanbase with such arrogance and entitlement.  Visit their forums when City lose... its absolutely priceless, you won't ever witness such excuses in your life.  I remember going onto there once pre-match and they accused Sky cameras of turning down the mic in the City end so their atmosphere sounded worse Hahahahaha. There was a City fan at the last place that I worked at. He was always going on about how they've invested so much money in to the youth development system. Then go on about how important it was to get these (overpriced) players because you need squad depth... We always had to tell him that we know (we = Chelsea supporter, Man Utd, Arsenal), it's called fighting for 4 trophies every year. As for the youth development, we all have academies too, let's wait and see shall we?
Pizy 18,926
Think City and their fans are quickly starting to realize that top players who are already at decent clubs aren't always going to want to join them just to be role players. A player like Jorginho or Fred who are stars for their current clubs won't just join City to rotate with Fernandinho. They can get players like Mahrez who played for a small club and has never experienced a big club before.

As for Mahrez he will take Sterling's place.

Mahrez is the better player, yes, but I think Sterling starts as first choice there.

If Bernardo Silva can't displace Sterling then no chance Mahrez does it. 34 minutes ago, Pizy said: I'm not so sure. Sterling was great for them last season and seems like a favorite of Pep's. Just have to start a comment with ' Being a longtime Chelsea supporter' Ive re registered twice after bans now. Ive a good mate on there and he just cracks up at how they blow up. You dont have to be nasty or pisstake neither Just tell them the truth. You would think being Mancs they would have thicker skins and have some banter. 6,200 comments on their Jorginho thread  EDIT Really awful site to navigate too. He can but I am pretty sure, going into the season Sterling is a nailed on starter going into the season. Mahrez will be a rotation player, however they will all get a lot of games. For instance, with Sterling play in the WC, Sane and Mahrez may play first game but Sane and Sterling will be the favoured two. They are crucial to how Pep Plays. I don't see Mahrez scoring or assisting as much as Sterling did last season and that is because Sterling suits their intense attacking approach.  6 hours ago, Pizy said: ? For example, imo Zaha is a lot better than Lingard, if you are comparing one on one basis, however as a team basis Lingard may work more. Sterling struggles for England for that exact reason. He is required to do more for England than City.

Only time i can remember is Robinho. And how glad we are for that. I remember Chelsea faced City two weeks later and Robinho scored from a freekick early.
