I have a bad feeling about this match. Even though we did the double against them last season, they created loads of chances in both matches. If they can convert a few this time, we will be in serious trouble.

These insane decisions regarding the schedule will only come to an end once the clubs unite and protest against those who make the decisions.

I understand there are tons of money into discussion, but there has to be a way to make this reasonable for everyone. This game could've easily been played on Sunday.

Fabregas looked knackered. He struggled against City away last season to, apart from one beautiful ball over the top to Costa which got Chelsea back in the game.

Hope we will be clinical with our chances on Saturday. Haven't watched City a lot this season but they have kept a lot of clean sheets, way more than expected.

Cesc was definitely playing a freer role than someone in a midfield three. Luiz is suspended, Drinkwater is unfit and Cesc looked tired last night. Only other alternative is Willian

Yes but he is still a midfielder and if we have to drop deep and defend, it'll be more natural to him than asking someone like Hazard to do it. Plus, using Fabregas will also give Conte slightly more flexibility in midfield, like what he did at Atletico - putting Fabregas as the deepest midfielder and Bakayoko and Kante in front of him when chasing the game, and we may need his passing range to exploit City's high defensive line. I know he looks gassed at this point but think we're gonna need him for this one.

Anyways, I want to see more of what we offered yesterday. There'll probably be some fatigue after an away Champions' league match on Wednesday night, especially after we're playing as soon as Saturday. Hopefully we'll be okay. A win against the bald cunt's team just before the international break would be massive.
