Pizy 18,916
Could've worked out here in a different system. One that uses two forwards. That's why I think he'll probably work out for Atleti since he won't have the pressure of being the lone striker who needs to score 25+. Lets hope he does so we can essentially get our money back in full.
Special Juan 28,141
I think even if we tried 4-5 systems it still wouldn't of worked, it was purely and mentality and physical issue for him. Johnnyeye
Magic Lamps 11,692
Not really convincing business. If he does really well, he could be worth more than 50m in the summer and if he fucks it up, which is likely, he will return here and sulk again, so the buy option is basically useless. But for the moment it is good to get rid of him.

Hell, maybe we'll get super lucky and a Chinese club will offer 80m for him.

But i guess we had tobgive it away to comvibce Atleti to take him at all. He actually would be a brilliant fit for the chinese league with their slow and not so physical football there and as bo one gives a fuck about their league his problem with oressure would also be allebiated. Unfortunately following that new regulation on foreign player they are not spending stupid money that much anymore.

And I was thinking the opposite How good it would be for him to fill his boots and we bring him back like a new player. Yeah OK far fetched but would save us money. AM wont pay us anywhere near what we paid.
Special Juan 28,141
We made a mistake buying him, we shouldn't be buying him again. Hes not strong enough or good enough for this league. RoyalBlues 4,050
Well, he is actually pretty good at the first 9 games under Conte’s second season. I remember then he got injured in the match (against City, if I’m not mistaken), the team mentality drop down and we lose it. After that basically he is fucked up until today. Think he could perform better under Conte. Under Sarri, it is simply not working. No hope. Well now he is leaving. Loan with an option to buy, sounds good to me. Thank you and good luck. Bring that beardy Higuain in.

RoyalBlues 4,050
All the sulking and gloomy behaviour cause answered then. Well, at least he got the guts to said it early to Sarri. Anyone else who don’t want to play for the blue shirt, just feck off. Johnnyeye

The problem is simple he simply cannot hold the ball whatsoever, slight contact and he start falling down.

As I pointed out in the first 9 games (when he keep banging goals using his head), he is perfect. I cannot remember he is got that moment under Sarri though. Yes maybe he has been ‘broken’, since Sarri appointed, so nothing much Sarri can do anyway. I don’t think the problem is technical. Something must be wrong inside his head. He lost confidence, the pressure keep haunting his head and finally make him uncomfortable in every aspect of his games. And then Sarri prefer the false 9 formation in important matches, the formation that like telling “I’m forced to play this, because all of my strikers are shit”, and obviously that destroy anything left inside him. Hence, he said he want to leave a month ago.
