I think that when we talk about Alonso, we should also include how much better Azpi is playing at RB. Probably been our best player today along with Luiz..

I'm not saying this only based on this game. I will say the same thing even he is MVP this match. And I have to emphasize it bugs me a lot how he gets picked over Chalobah.

As bad as our back four is against most teams, they work against Arsenal, would rather stick to that and bleed Alonso in vs Hull and beyond.

A weird feeling that you have to play the second part of extra time and it is already decided, unless a monumental fuck up happens. Wish the game ended now so the players can travel home.

Let's try something different, mate No Ivanovic. I just don't want to see him start for us anymore. He simply does not deserve it. He and Oscar must be nowhere near our starting XI.

It's not just that their awful players, it's that playing them also affects the way we plays as a team. It'll just be another exhibition of us being unable to pass the ball out from the back.

I don't see how you can all the great passes he played towards our forwards today, and say he's terrible.

 

His defensive positioning is suspect, but he is a fantastic footballer.

 

If you want to see awful look at Alonso.
