Nothing to see here folks. We have a much better XI we can put out than the one which struggled in the first half. Players win matches; ours lost that one. We can, and will, be better. We are not yet good enough but nor are we as grim as we seemed for spells here.

I also feel it's a deliberate plan by Antonio to obscure his real thinking about the team. Just a guess of course.

The commentator just completely ruined the game for me. The sad thing with the imbeciles at ESPN is that here in the USA we are forced to pay for the channel on our bill. Thank goodness ESPN have donkey dick in terms of actual football this season. Premier League will be on NBC and Champions League on Fox.

Very good response 2nd half after the predictable 1st half shitshow. Hazard, Batshuayi, Cuadrado, Chalobah impressed. Matic stepped it up. He bossed the midfield. We all know what our problems are, problems that need to be adressed urgently before the season starts.

But we can be content with the final score line.

To be honest,Batsman looks to me as the more superior striker to me due to his far better technical abilities.Costa is a world class finisher with world class movement,but Batsman can hold the ball,can play great passes and has good movement to.He has so much potential and in this 2 striker system,I doubt that Costa can play as brilliant as he can play in a one striker system.In this 2 striker system,Costa´s big weakness in technique could become a huge issue,if you ask me.
