bababoom 4,478
To me it is clear that most people put Cahill infront of Luiz because of:1) the fact that Cahill is english and they see him as the next Terry2) Luiz's playstyleI would chose Terry+Luiz over Terry+Cahill any day of the week. No, it's because he a better CB...Also by Luiz' play style do you mean.. he's too casual at the back, runs forward too many times and loses it, bad positioning, runs at the defender too much.. He's either too eager or just too casual.. The only place to be and BlueLion.

He's either too eager or just too casual.. Thats your opinion. Regarding what you said about Luiz, I could come up with a number of things about Cahill too. Fact remains, people usually judge Luiz alot more because he sticks out more. People usually dont notice Cahills mistakes because they just dont want to see them, you see it all over these forums when Cahill has a bad game compared to Luiz. Luiz takes 10 times the shit Cahill takes. Peace. and francozola

The only place to be 11,313
Oh please... so narrowminded I wont even bother replying. It's true though. Luiz has received plenty of credit but people want to see some bias from certain fans when there simply isn't any. It's got NOTHING to do with his nationality (never had a problem with Emerson Thome) and everything to do with the way he plays football. We just want a centre-half who does the basics and doesn't try and run the ball out of defence. In fact, Cahill does the same on occasion but he knows his limitations and doesn't try too much risky stuff. I'l give Luiz a lot of credit for actually hoofing the ball out now far more than he did when he arrived, but he'll still have the odd 'moment' every now and then. DYC. 7,542
What you talking about? Cahill has been playing great... Luiz is liability as a CB.I just want to make clear i haven't got an Agenda, it's not like i will only support Cahiil and not Luiz, but it's clear to anyone (apart from you and Henrique) that Cahill is a better defender than Luiz. It's weird how Villas-Boas and Di Matteo didn't consider him a liability. Benitez preferred David Luiz too before he had to cover for our issues in midfield. That's three different managers. Jase 43,479
Great to see him back in action! Though it has be to said that he was a tad reckless in giving the penalty away.

Zone 290
Now that Terry has rested and hopefully fully recovered and Cech back I think we can start seeing some consistency and solidify that top 3 spot. xPetrCechx and TorontoChelsea

CHOULO19 24,332
Since I started following him on Instagram I realized that John is not even close to the tough guy he is on the pitch. Some of the things he post, like writing his kids' names in the snow, make me think he is still a little kid inside. Never thought I'd say this, but John Terry is so cute! petr.breu, bababoom, xPetrCechx and 1 other

Hutcho 8,443
I dont know if i want to start him against walcott on sunday.I do and the answer is 100% yes... Walcott is faster than any defender we have, so if its a flat out footrace is doesn't matter who we have really. Also JT, gives us so much more. I find it hard to believe we would have squandered a 2 goal lead vs southampton with JT in defence. He also boosts the players is a real leader and will help the crowd get pumped up, and dominate giroud or any arial threat they may want to pose.
