Bye bye conte
he must learn to respect our board.
We lost yesterday because of him.
He brings rudiger , he sold Diego costa .
The players we signed were conte’s choices.

Bye bye conte
Prove it.

The problem is players like Zappa, Alonso, Dzeko and a few more even if they are Conte's... they are like 3rd 4th 5th choices... We got them only because we didn't get our main targets.

But in all honesty Conte can't blame it all on board yesterday... We cannot compete with Man Utd and Man City but Arsenal is a different thing.

If Conte's first choice is Harry Kane then we will never get him..Cannot blame it on board enitrely...We spent 200 million even though we sold players for the same money.....200 M is lot of money....We bought shit with that money....So much money wasted on drinkwater and bakayoko....Morata is not showing any promise...Both board and conte are at fault...Conte needs to stop moaning..Instead of taking digs at board he has to coach this team some attacking play..Board also needs to buckle up and spend money on quality players with proper scouting

We may have lost to 2 stupid deflected goals but Conte really made some stupid decisions tonight:
1. Why bring Barkley on for Willian when he hasn't played for 6-7 months? Did his best tonight but looked a little lost. Why not just bring Batshuayi on?
2. Wenger may have switched his formation in the second half but why oh why, did we switch to 3-5-2? Think that system has worked only against Atletico this season and it's been awful otherwise.
3. Why did we stick with the back 3/5 all the way till the end? Doesn't even matter if we lose 2-1 or 3-1 since we were already losing at that point!
4. Why the hell did Conte, again, bring a RWB for a RWB? (Benitez would be so proud of that!) Were already 2-1 down by then. Why not bring Bats on for Moses instead and put Pedro to WB or something? I remember Conte used to be flexible with his formation in games last season. This season, he has stubbornly persisted with the same formation. It's always 3-4-3 or 3-5-2. Why not play with a back 4 when we're chasing games?

Ross did as okay as Bats did, we don't have personnel for leaving the 3-man defense behind us, Pedro was absolutely useless after the first 10 minutes, we never switched to 3-5-2. don't know if you noticed, but our main problem yesterday was actually having attacking players...

@Matt_Law_DT

Conte of course has reason to be frustrated but the idea he is not having any input into transfers is hard to believe - zappacosta, Morata, Alonso, rudiger, and now palmieri and dzeko all players he would know a lot about. Carroll was also his suggestion

Conte needs to utilise our young players more to make up the squad. I think RLC and Barkley are basically the same player, Chalobah would do as well as Drinkwater. Ake could've developed into a left sided Azpilicueta. Musonda could do more. By not making those signings that's £65/70m that could've then been spent on someone who'd instantly improve the first 11. But the club seem obsessed with inflating the squad with average players, ending up with a squad where it's the same one or two players responsible for creating and scoring goals.

We used to have high level young players, Mourinho sold most of them.

The players you mention are as mediocre as the ones we signed. So if your point is saving money, then yeah, you're right and you might have a chance to land a job under Marina.

But if you mean by doing that we'd be improving, no we won't. We have average players everywhere with few exceptions, none of them mentioned by you.

,Matt law is club's mouthpiece..He is Tier 1 reporter for chelsea
So I've heard, but when he works for a paper where his boss deliberately lies for clicks, then nothing can guarantee that he isn't forced to do the same from time to time.

You can't blame him. How can you be a top manager at a top club when the club won't back your judgement in the transfer market, and instead identify their own targets and force you to work with them? He'll be gone, and Ancelotti will come back as Roman's yes-man, win us a PL title but fail to do anything in Europe, and then Hiddink will come back for round 3.
I could bet body parts if Carlo ever wins a premier League title with this lot of players... Sorry, he wouldn't get us in UCL

Yeah, it's a no for me to bringing Carlo back as well. We need to find our Pochenttino. Someone who thinks long term and can build something with the thought already in their head that we can't competen financially with the Manc clubs. We'll have to win with our tactics and coachin rather than with financial muscle going forward.

We're a tier 2 club like Arsenal, Spuds, Liverpool etc now. Can't compete directly with United, City, PSG, Barca, Real Madird.

Embarassing comment really....

Do you really think Zappa, Alonso or Palmieri are first Conte choice ?

Same for Carroll or Dzeko ?

You can be sur Conte want top players, it's the reason why he left Juventus some years ago.

And it's the reason of his frustration now.

But if the board tell him you have just a low budget to recruit then he gives average player, because average players it's always better than no players at all.

That's no meaning that he is happy with that.

Maybe ZappaCosta was the 15 choice on his whish list.

And for some who says "Yes but board has spend 220 millions for Conte".

It's true but seriously when you count the income players, you have to count depart players and check the balance !

This year we spend 220 millions but we receive 200 millions for our departing players.

So what ? Conte should say "Thanks Chelsea Board, one of the biggest club in the world, to spend 20 millions for me on his window !"

And the funniest, here is a view of our balance transfert since 14/15 at now :

# Club(s) Expenditures Arrivals Income Departures Balance

19 Chelsea FC Chelsea FC 577,80 Mill. € 151 537,34 Mill. € 144 -40,46 Mill. €

Yeah we are 19th of this fucking list. Yes we have just spend 40 millions in 4 years...

But yeah continue to blame Conte because you are too dumb to see the reality.

When I Was d, "he must respect the board". Yeah maybe, but please first of all, the board must respect the fans.

200m is a lot of money regardless of if it was made back, and furthermore Matic aside who did he want to keep that was sold? Half of the sales were loanees or squad players he never played.

This platitude I'm hearing at recent times is ridiculous - CONTE'S SIGNING. My God. Imagine this:

Marina: "Hello mister Conte, we have 25 millions for a fullback"

Conte: "Oh, all right, I'll see what I can do..."

* finds Zappacosta / injured Emerson for that money *

Fans: "You stupid manager Zappacosta is YOUR SIGNING and he is sheeet!"

Conte at press: "We need to do better in transfer market..."

Fans: "OMG he always moans and gets in conflict with our board!!!"

... leave him alone, for fuck's sake.

And what's the difference ?

We receive this money in selling players (loanees, bad, average or top players).

But the fact is we just reinvest this money for new players but not more.

The board doesn't invest money in the transferts, we are Chelsea, one of the biggest club in the world and we don't invest money.

We have the new stadium, I accept that. But it's not the only reason. Its same clear it's a new politic for long term and no just to finance the new Bridge.

As has already been said, if you want to fill this stadium, club must stay attractive, he must continue to make people dream.

If we become an average club with average players, it could be worst for our incomes

Who want experience that Liverpool experienced few years ago ?

When you invest money on big players (fee or wages) it's not just for sport or result. It's also an important economical invest (more marchandising etc.).

If we continue this kind of path, I really fear for the futur of the club.

Our expenditure has still been pretty big. Problem is we've spent it on far too many average players. The 'sell to buy' policy is crap admittedly.
