Simply not good enough. We were set up to fail this season right from the off. In that time we've had terrible decisions by previous managers, board members, owners have got us to this point. They all have a part to play and the ones who are still there have to fix it. Or else we won't be seeing Champions League football at the Bridge for a while. Crossroads moment for our club. Let's dust ourselves down and rebuild. Sigh.

There is only so long you can have upwards of 5 donkeys in a team and produce shit football before you're found out.

PSG outplayed us over two legs and deserved to go through. There were periods in both games where they made us look League 2 standard.

First step was getting rid of the biggest culprit in Mourinho. Time for a serious rebuild now.

If you look at us and PSG you can see different style. They didnt want to defence in any part of these matches. They didnt waited what we will do, they was doing their best. But we...like always... wait for mistake, even after a part of good offensive time we went to defence. We cont do it when our defence playing like shit. Just not.

we have the exact same starting line up as last year if anything worse because the players confidence were badly hit starting this season with all the poor results and the way we had been playing

Sad thing is that PSG were there for the taking, same as the Away leg. Shocks me that our players didn't quite seem to realise the urgency and let PSG play with the ball wasting time etc.

 

Referee aside, poor attitude, I saw like 6-7 times we pressured as a team and nigh on everytime PSG lost the ball which resulted in a very dangerous counter attack.. Even if Diego's head was glued to looking downward, warrior still.
