RLC is no DM & it's the hardest midfield position to play. He doesn't have the expansive distribution, stamina, defensive nous, positioning or intelligence to play that role yet.

Precisely. Loftus should play with Matic and Oscar, 3 quick, aggressive and very mobile players who are able to pass the ball very well aswell as run with it. All 3 of them can score from distance too. With Baba and Dave as full-backs we might look a lot better.

Mourinho must not make that mistake and try to turn Loftus into another Mikel.

I'm thinking maybe Oscar's only good to play from the bench, Mikel starts & Cesc plays #10, Cesc because it's ridiculous to play RLC in that role so early in his career when he grew up playing either B2B or #10. He'd be pretty much setting him up to fail.
