Ok His all round play was surprisingly good last night. Her actually held up the ball, linked play really well and made some good runs which were mostly ignored. encouraging.

It's not just him, Costa gets ignored a lot as well. Besides Fabregas, we really don't have any player to feed Costa or in fact any other player who makes a run in behind. It's crucial for us to sign an Aranguiz/Witsel. Either of these two will help us massively in terms of holding on to the ball and making space for Fabregas.

Lacks pressing power in my opinion, and would leave our midfield awfully exposed against bus teams who have fast players on the counter, Matic is pretty good but can't be everywhere at the same time.

In a crisis situation, i.e. losing at the bridge, desperatly needing the 3 points, we could used it, Mourinho always switches to 3-5-3 25 minutes before the end when we trail at home anyways, so I'm sure it could happen, just not as a starting line-up.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!! I hope thats what Mous thinking too after the last 2 games!

It was his first fuckin game in bloody ages! Nobodys had any faith in the lad from LvG to Pékerman. Hes been kicked the fuck out of for the past year or so and his confidence must have been rock bottom. Torres didnt get nothing compared to what Falcaos had.

So I think he did bloody good.

Once he gets to hopefully gel with the rest of the lads and he gets training to get him proper match fit (we know hes being trained alot right now dont we) he will be kushdy.

Football isn't like FIFA mate.. they can't just pass whenever someone is making a run because you know there are defenders around and they are going to intercept the pass.

I noticed too, but it was Remy, Willian and Cuadrado on the ball in those situations. So no surprise they didn't try to find him.

just saw the match, and honestly speaking, was not one bit surprised by his performance. even for united, he made the right runs but was ignored for rooney and/or rvp. his hold up play was a bit shaky but i expect him to much well adapted to PL's physicality this time around. his overall movement and linkup play were quite good too. all in all, i am going to have so much fucking fun when this season ends.

Maybe, just maybe this is his season?

Loaned to a team with lot of top supporting players

Loaned to a team managed by a manager who seems to believe in him

Finally got rid of his long term injuries for good

Determined more than ever to prove he still got it at the top level

His main competitor Costa is looking permantly damaged and will most likely miss most of the season

His other competitor is not a big name and not guaranteed a start because of price tag

Playing for a team with very similar style to the Atletico team which he was in the best form of his life

Too many coincidence  maybe just maybe a miracle can happen.

Really hope i get a well serving of humble pie this season. He's overall play was exceptional this pre-season.

too bad when he came to play tonight there wasn't anyone remotely able to provide him with some service...

I'm actually looking forward to see him play... if he gets even 60% of the form he had before his latest injury we're in for a feast. I can even see us really challenging for UCL. If only we also got that midfielder. Damn, this season could be memorable.

attack wins you titles. Can you imagine if we have a very good Falcao?

Maybe that's too much optimism and hope, but I can't help, been like that since I was born :P

My glass is always half full, about to spill all over :P
