Courtois: “I know Falcao very well. He’s a very good boy, he’s a good friend of mine so if he comes, great. It’s the decision of the club but he would be a very good player for Chelsea.”

There's something about Falcao. I just really like him as a player. I mean, he was amazing once upon a time... everything about him was just sick! How he fucking loses his mind when he goes to celebrate a goal. How he's composed in front of goal and is one of those players who does the little chip over the keeper. How he bangs in IMPORTANT GOALS. He's just a boss. WAS*

If he can find even half the form he was in at Atleti, I reckon he's gonna terrorize defenders all over Europe here at Chelsea.

Falcao wouldn't flop here. He is perfect for the setup and would score headers for fun here.

United was a mess last year and didn't allow Di maria to falcao combo to play out. Here, falcao will have cesc's longballs to attack all day. Unless, his injury is worsen, I expect a 15 goal falcao next season

I think the signing (on loan) is definitely done.

But as Diego Costa last season, the signing of Falcao will not be announced until July 1 because until that day is the economic course from 2014 to 2015 and I think the club does not want to put the investment for Falcao this year to get positive economic results in 2014 - 2015.

So Falcao will be announced on July 1 (or later) to be part of the economic balance of 2015-2016.

For me it's a great signing. I trust Jose. He will make Falcao A TOP player again.

Regards.

Didn't Costa play on the wing for Atletico when Falcao was with them? Wonder if Mourinho will try the same here

I think he was behind him. So cam or ss

I don't watch much of la liga but Monaco scouts seems to have a good eye for talent looking at their latest signings. Something I found on YT if anyone cares.

I'll be annoyed if we sell him. He's a great prospect, he's had a fantastic loan and was an ever present in a mid-lower top flight team where he was a holder instead of a no 8.

He definitely could come into the first team - I'd say he's more ready than RLC, but he could fill in some bench roles such as Mikel's and Ramirez's in the mean time.

Seems like every day for the past week or two there is a report that he's "hours away" from being announced as a Chelsea player or within the next 24 hours.

Imagine, just imagine, if Jose can get him back to his Atletico form. To the form that made Monaco pay £60m. The front line would be deadly. Ooh I'm interested to see this.

What gives me some hope is Drogba had a stinker of a calendar year in 2008 (every bit as bad as Falcao at United) but recovered and was better under Hiddink then 09/10 he exploded and was unstoppable (37 goals only 1 pen in 41 games is a crazy record).

And Falcao is capable of that. Prime Falcao was unstoppable, beast in the air, great technically. He really was a complete striker.

Hopefully I'll be able to find a quality stream in YouTube in a few minutes so I can watch he and Cuadrado against Venezuela.

I wanna see how good his movement and sharpness are.
