Sidzeret 2,257
Surely no Vidal for them. Would've made much better sense to them.

communicate 2,703
First I thought this signing make no sense, then I heard RVP is going to have knee surgery. It kinda make sense but I don't understand why not just drop the 3-4-1-2, go back to 433 or 4231. Tomo 21,751
I don't know, their 'sensible' transfer policy under Fergie left them with the likes of Jones, Smalling, Young, Nani, Anderson, Bebe, Kagawa, Zaha...etc. Sure they have a few success like RVP but the majority of their deals in his last 5 years has been terrible. Partly the reason why they are in disarray atm actually. Also Fergie did have absolute control, he was virtually the King of their club and everything goes through him. I doubt the club would have missed out on Lucas, Hazard if he didn't deem them to be too expensive. Of course this would have never happened under his watch, he is an old thinking manager who don't believe in spending huge shocking amount of money, he is happy for the Glazer to bleed MU dry. Anderson and Nani were two of the hottest young properties in football at the time, it was a huge statement by United signing them. Kagawa was Germany player of the year, Jones and Smalling were decent prospects but have been shoved all over the place. You could argue Fergie got a bit to sensible in his late years, questioning Edens price tag speaks volumes.Basically Fergie would never have thrown obscene wages or transfers at a player (Rooney being the only exception). IIRC, they sold Park Ji-Sung around that time.

They have 18 more minutes.Over at redcafe half the United fans are shitting it thinking it's off the other are confident it's done because of apparent leaked quotes. DanishBlue 426
Well, at least they didn't get Vidal or a decent CB so they should still be shit.
nyikolajevics 2,698
MU and Arsenal suck at the same time? I like it...MU would stuck with two strikers for 3-5-2 while Arsenal only have Sanogo and Campbell until January.

RVP having knee operation apparently, the reason why MU are interested in Falcao in 1st place
