Chelsea Buzz 487 Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 I'm a bit more worried about Arsenil than Citeh...they have quality and finally getting results, not to mention Arsenil have an easier run-in...Screw up tomorrow and I'll be super disappointed. We already had a tough week with PSG, I want to end the week on a high...I don't disagree when considering Arsenal's form, BUT it is really all about us and our performance here on out. We take care of business and we hoist the trophy. We will drop some points given some of our remaining games, but just take care of the clubs we are supposed to and we will be celebrating in May! MUST take advantage of it against Southampton tomorrow, especially with games against United, Arsenal and Liverpool not too far away.2. Never mind the thought of having the chance to go 8 points clear of City, we CANNOT let Arsenal get into the title race. Even though they have played 2 games more, they are only 6 points behind us and if we aren't careful (particularly with the said fixtures coming up), the race could get ugly when it doesn't need to be. Majority of the Arsenal fans suddenly think they can win the title now after today's results. We cannot give them any encouragement!3. Did we actually murder someone on Wednesday? There's no denying we surrounded the referee against PSG but it was mainly only on one occasion - the sending off. Otherwise, we did nothing more than that and yet, judging by the outrage from the media, pundits, journalists etc, you would think that we actually killed someone on the pitch.They are acting as if we are the only team in the world who does that when every week, in every game, players surround the referee to argue about decisions and I don't see them blowing things out of proportion like they are now. JT can carry the trophy down the middle and bring Gerrard closer to the trophy than he ever has been before! xD.Would be fantastic to watch them all have to clap us on, but especially Gerrard and Sturridge, would be so so satisfying. Unionjack 7,531 Posted March 15, 2015 Share Posted March 15, 2015 I know in a perfect world we shouldnt need to rely on other teams losing for us to win the premiership but this is by no means a perfect world and Ill take the premiership title any way they want to give us it.Last time we played Saints it was Taylor who appologized to Jose for the crap booking Cescy got and today we have Mike Dean again so lets just hope hes in unbiased mode.IF we beat the saints we shouldnt have any problems with the rest of the season. Yes i remember the 8 point lead we had a couple years back but this season we have Jose and Ive still got total faith in him. We are at the mo 2 games in hand over Citeh so 8 points with a game in hand Id take that every bloomin season and bet all I had we would take the silverware home.Id just like to see us play without the handbrake on.
