Reason why Cuadrado has been a failure: Mourinho is basically manager with no repertoire. He won't create a tactic based in the players he has available. Just think about Juan Mata. Geez, the man looked average an awfull playing for Mourinho, despite easily being the best player during 12/13 season. The reason why: Mourinho wanted Mata to play a role that is not suitt for his playing abilities.

For past 2 seasons Mourinho is stuck with his predictable 4-2-3-1. I bet in 2019 the team will be playing with the same pattern. He only change the players. It doesn't matter if the team is facing PSG or Stoke City. 4-2-3-1.

I would only keep Ramires as he still offers something extra in big games, either a goal, good engine, pace, whatever. But for Mikel and Cuadrado, there are shitload of better and more useful players out there. Cheaper too.

Ivanovic may be bad defender but he is one brilliant big game player. Efficient and does the job when needed. Deserves more credit for that.
