King11Didier 916
The support at the Bridge is really awful. I'm not saying it for the first or for the last time, but it is horrible to hear booing from the away fans to our players at our stadium....Hope this will end after the expansion or at the new stadium. It'll attract more tourists. The Premier league is no longer for the working class man. The atmosphere will never be regenerated
Laylabelle 9,535
Doubt expansion of stadium will change atmosphere.if people willing to pay crazy prices for tickets why charge less

The atmosphere will never be regeneratedunless we make season tickets cheap and increase their share over general sale, that is the only way I can think of that would get proper lads through the door.Oh, and standing again. The Chels 2,502
Barca and Real have plenty of tourists but their big-game atmospheres still exist. SB was surprisingly very flat against PSG and City. The lack of intensity from the players no doubt affects the noise levels (and vice versa). Idk, maybe getting the players involved more would help too. And that lighting thing we did was cool, surprised we didn't do it against PSG actually. thekid9 418
Thought the Liverpool game was the best atmosphere for a while! Matt harding upper is always in good voice especially evening games!
Iggy Doonican 4,186
The problem is a lot of our support are blokes in there late forties early fifties (myself included). So lets say before the game you have a big feed and a couple of pints and you sit down to watch the likes of Burnley and Hull well it those exactly get the pulses racing. There will always be a good atmosphere when we play the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs etc. Another problem is when your playing the likes of Palace there fans are treating it as a day out and are not expecting to win so will sing for 90 minutes. While to a certain extent we sit there expecting Chelsea to win and we treat it as another humdrum match.Mind you i hate the idea of singing sections atmosphere at football is organic and not like joining a choir. I do have my suspicions about the atmosphere at Selhurst Park now that looks totally preordained and phony.
Spike 12,049
The loudest stadium I've been to was the United Centre during the American national anthem. Fucking cringe worthy it was but was still absolutely 10/10 amazing to hear. The noise generated was absolutely astounding.

We Hate Scouse 10,326
It also has more than 20,000 less people than Stamford Bridge. So its smaller as well. Even more superior.

My point is that indoor arenas can be extremly loud with a few thousands of people while a large ass stadium like Nou Camp might sound quiet. CHOULO19 24,332
It also has more than 20,000 less people than Stamford Bridge. The loudest 'stadium' I've been in is a Basketball court that barely seats a few hundred people. The small size amplifies the sound so much, you can't even hear yourself shout.PS: Speaking of shitty atmospheres, Australia just scored against Germany, the camera cut to the Australian supporters, and literally half a dozen of them were half-heartedly clapping in their seats.
