LAM09 7,056
Remy isn't the dream signing we all want, but he is probably what we need. A player that will get a few goals here and there, and will give Costa a chance to rest from time to time.
Myself 793
It's worth a punt - especially as you could negotiate a discount price e.g £20 million loan with an option to buy outright for another £20 million at the end of the loan ain't bad. Any other club would need to find £40 million...I'd definitely take Falcao over Remy - it would be amazingBut, back in the real world - expect Remy to be ours nah mate, even if we could get Falcao on a permanent transfer for 20m in total I'd still take Remy. Falcao's presence would cause too many problems within the squad
RoyalBlues 4,050
The way Arsenal want to hijack this move, make me more want this move to be happened really bad now. Announce it 10 minutes before Leicester vs Arsenal kick off time will be nice.

RoyalBlues 4,050
Going to Chelsea :+ better salary and bonus+ working with the special one+ better chance to win the trophies for many years- obvious 2nd choice striker behind CostaGoing to Arsenal :+ 1st choice striker until December guaranteed- if not performed well until December, will be the 2nd choice behind Giroud anyway- less salary and bonus - working with special(ist in failure) one- fight for 4th place trophyIf I were him, not that hard to pick the right move. petre.ispirescu 4,928
Arsenal to hijack a Chelsea deal? Not in my world, no. Maybe a Tottenham or a Everton one, but not Chelsea's. I like to think that Remy is smart enough to know that even the bench role at Chelsea is more important that being a regular starter for a club that will probably finish 4th again and crash in the round of 16 in the Champions League. LayZ 201
Let me quote myself from the Diego Costa thread 4 months ago:There is no striker who alone can solve our attacking problems..I hope we sign someone who has proved his worth in the premiership to complement Costa..Remy for example could be a wonderful 2nd choice I think.. EvidenceI just patted myself on the back..

Jack Reacher 4
this is possibly Wenger just being a cunt again...I don't think he can hijack our deal. It's players concern though. Both teams can pay 8m, we'll see which one he will choose. To me, the answer is already obvious.

Pizy 18,916
This is either typical Wenger choking in the transfer window or Arse trying to deny any deals in order to shock and surprise their fans by making them think no one is coming and then announcing it at the last minute. Toli 977
Should be done by today, shouldn't it? He is in London, we have agreed a deal with QPR. Only left is medical and this should be done quickly.
