Spike 12,049
He's injury prone right?Nope. For the last four season he has played at least 36+ games a season.
Melanicus 5,208
Fuck no, I'd hate to see one of my favorite players in Spurs.
NiclasCFC 2,582
Sky Sports News - #Spurs chairman Daniel Levy in Marseille to try and bring Loic Remy to #THFC What the?! AVB said he would not buy more strikers!
teignman 441
What the?! AVB said he would not buy more strikers! He also said he had the full backing of Roman to see out the "project" last season.Anywho, I think Remy would be a fine addition. Heaven knows we need the depth up front. Also, it would fuck with Spuds. Sounds like a win-win to me.
Jase 43,479
Matt Spiro @mattspiro Man City one of several English clubs to register interest in Loic Remy yday. OM say they wont sell for less than 20m euros (L'Equipe)
Ollie 4,400
To be honest... anything to fuck Arsenal's hopes of a top 4 finish will be approved by me. I hope the 2 Manc sides, us and Tottenham finish in the top 4, i'm not even too fussed on the order as long as we're in it and Arsenal aren't. My only thought now is why the fuck are Tottenham pissing about with Jermaine Defoe? He's their best striker and has been one of the best premiership strikers for 10 years yet he's not seen as first team. He only played the last 2 games because they had no one else and now they want Remy. Defoe will be 3rd choice again. I bet Defoe goes to Arsenal. BlueLyon 9,359
because of this interest Remy's price gone up for 5mio and could go even further. 25mio in the end, thats not cheap anymore at all. Considering the stsrting price was less than 15mio.
raghavchamp 2
I think we should be definately trying for Klass-Jan Huntelaar. He's 29 yr old,so has a atleast 2-3 good years left in him.Has been known as a poacher or goalscorer and plays with Dutch National Team regularly. He's scored loads of goals for Schalke and is crucially in the last year of his contract. If we could get him for say 7-8 million or anything under 10 million,i think it would be an absolute steal...!!!....He would be a brilliant backup to Fernando Torres and chip in with his share of goals.Plus that can give us the leverage to sell Sturridge if we get a brilliant deal for him of about say 20-25 million from Liverpool or Spurs. His signing wont put too much pressure on Nando as Cavani's or Falcao's definately would be detrimental to his confidence. We need to back him fully now that he's showing signs of coming back to life because am sure if he starts firing on all cylinders we all know there's isn't a better Striker in the World for sure.Am hoping and have faith that Torres will be be good and we have to stick with him. Now, the only problem here is to convince Huntelaar to come.I hope he'll be lured by getting to play in PL and at a big club like Chelsea and looking at the season,he'll surely have his fair no. of games. So in the end all i would say is that we can pull of a coup at the end of transfer window if we can be a bit clever...just hoping this reaches the Club Officials somehow...!!!... Badboy 1,526
.His signing wont put too much pressure on Nando as Cavani's or Falcao's definately would be detrimental to his confidence. We need to back him fully now that he's showingThat is one of my biggest problems with the whole Torres situation. If we sign a big striker there is a chance he could crumble like he did when Drogba was here, we can't cater that much food towards one player to the detriment of the team. Loic Remy is a very good striker too, he scores 1 goal in 2 games in France and he's a pacy finisher and he would really push Torres ! KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
How good is he? What type of Striker is he? Who would you compare him to? Realistically how much would he cost?I ask because I'm too lazy to read through the thread.
DYC. 7,542
He's a good player but we don't need yet another striker who's not comfortable with his back to the goal.

If Man City and / or Tottenham start a bidding war with us, I can see the price going as high as +20m but so far Marseille's asking price has been quoted at around 15m. Slam Dunk 1,442
Well if SSN are to be believed, and Levy is in Marseille as we speak, it could force Chelsea's/City's hand. Frankly, I don't see him joining us - Is he one of our first choice targets? I don't think so.
magic weeds 446
City were only interested in him because they thought the Sinclair deal would not materialise. Now they have got him, I believe they wont be in for Remy. Its between Spurs and chelsea. With the rumours that Levy is gone to France, maybe we have just missed on him at 15m pounds.... unless Emenalo has everything in control again. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Fucking Spuds are putting together a good team. If they click they can really be up in the Top 4. Which is bad for Arsenal because I can't see us finishing outside the Top 4 either. In fact we're almost locked in for top 3. Anyway as I have said, I don't see us signing anyone on deadline day. I think we've sensibly (for once) wrapped up all our business. Getting someone like Remy will be a bonus.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Seems like he would be a good buy then.

Frankly, I don't see him joining us - Is he one of our first choice targets? I don't think so.This is how I see things:1. Hulk: Porto screw around too much and their demands are far too high.2. André Schurrle: Interest is very real but Bayer Leverkusen have told Chelsea not to make another bid. He is not for sale period.3. Loic Rémy: Third choice, Marseille are willing to sell and woudl cost about €18+ Million.I really want this to happen.
Leif 6,006
I fear he won't be joining us.I fear even more that he'll be joining Tottenham.I want him sooo much
Pizy 18,915
Would be pretty annoying to see Spuds get all these players we have been or currently are interested in. Dembele, Moutinho, Remy ect...
