THAT Diego is better than any other striker in the EPL. I will miss that guy.

I will miss that guy too. and I have been doing so for the majoirty of 2017. 

 

Yes he used to be a brilliant striker for us. But I guess all good things have to come to an end. I wish him well and hope China money turns his head.

I absolutely appreciate how important he has been since he joined us, 2 PL titles is no small feat. But i will be more than happy to see him go, He was beloved by Chelsea fans and it is sad to think he wont be remembered fondly but he has wanted to leave since he got here. He demands things of others but wont reciprocate which is a shame. He will be back at his beloved Atleti somehow in January and we will move on and keep pushing. No hard feelings but sadly there will be few positive thoughts about the player in my mind when he leaves. Thanks for the help getting those titles though.

To be honest, he's doing his damnedest right now to burn all bridges and evaporate any good will he had with the club and us fans. Airing out everything in public and angling for a move away over and over again (which he's been doing for years now).

Personally, I'm sick of him. Quicker we move him on and get someone who's happy to play for Chelsea and isn't going to moan about going back to Spain every chance he gets the better.

It doesn't work like that. Costa need to agree a personal terms, so he won't join "any team". He made it pretty clear. And billionaire like Abramovich wouldn't want to lose a tens of millions "just out of anger".

Imagine trying to slate Conte after the stunt he pulled in January trying to leave to China.  Or talking numerous times about his desire to return to Spain.

• Costa kicks up a fuss and the media are all over the fact he wants a big money move to China
• Following this, Costa's form dips and goals dry up
• The fans continue their top class support for him and the team
• He starts firing again and doing his job
• The crowd sing his name again
• Season ends and we win the league
• Costa gets text from Conte saying he isn't in his plans
• Diego keeps talking and says "I'm waiting for Chelsea"

This guy has been brilliant for us, that isn't even in question, but when you decide mid season, not just mid season but a season you are absolutely flying, not just yourself but the team you have to question why the fuck he decided to make noises. Stay the fuck quiet, stay focused because at the end of this rainbow might just be one of the biggest medals and CV prints you will ever have. OK so if Conte has sent him a text saying "Your off" maybe it's Conte saying you shot your load here son and I am the boss.

IMO Diego Costa has been great, but he's dropped one fat messy shite in all this, it came in January, now all of a sudden he is trying to play the kidnapped....Nah not for me.

There's some facts in this situation, like his desire to came back to Atletico last summer, but the whole China thing is nothing but rumours. Diego denied that from first day. And even now he says that China is not an option for him.

Almost every player are going through tough patches. That doesn't mean China was a reason for his.

Also, last autumn he said that he won't push for Atletico move anymore.

Then it worth to mention that Diego expressed his desire to stay at Chelsea after FA Cup final. He said that ONLY IF Chelsea want to get rid off him, he would like to join Atletico, but his preference is to stay at Chelsea. Maybe he knew something is coming, maybe Chelsea wanted to push him out to China, who knows.

I think the China thing was definitely "something" initially. Who wouldn't be blinded by an offer of 30m per year salary or whatever it was? Then I think he came to his senses and started up with the Atleti stuff again. Now he's trying to paint Conte as the villain and apparently garner sympathy from the public.
