Diego Costa

Don't know if anyone else noticed but eurosport featured an article todayabout how Costa alienated himself from his teammates in these four steps:

1)speaking up his problems with teammates

2)picking contests with team mates in the gym and celebrating his victories exuberantly

3) Promoting his pro-EU position against the EU-scepticism of TErry&friends

4)pretending to listen to "hardcore" hip hop when secretly preferring Drake in private

I decided to share this with you since this bizarre article has me in a likewise bizarre limbo between absolute disbelief and cracking up with laughter. I can't honestly believe someone could be so dumb and superficial to compile a list of such meaningless bullshit in this context let alone belief this is legend but on the other hand I have not found any evidence to debunk this as some kind of tacky satire.

the combination of inept referees and FA and tabloid witch hunts would make it tough for anyone playing striker for Chelsea these days. Our players get the shit kicked out of them but if they try to show a spine and fight back they get suppressed because Chelsea are hated which is something I've grown to accept but I don't want Diego to change at all.

Let him do what he wants. We aint winning shit this year anyways.

iseah100 speaking his own language works for him but gives a good example of how the world works.

Of course people growing up in America should have their own version of the language we share. Of course they should have their own vocabulary and their own idioms. No problem with that so when someone who naturally speaks American English says anyways it sounds perfectly correct or even cool. When a Brit says it however, it sounds to my ears like chalk squeaking on a blackboard and I find myself having to suppress violent feelings. Now, I am not a violent man you understand. I haven't hit anybody since my early years at school but I fear that if I ever hear a Brit saying, "Anyways, I could care less so you do the math.", I am going to loose that proud record. :)

Hiddink on @FA: "What I spoke about with Diego: 'hey, he cannot be charged on the kiss, let's see if there's other things we can find" #CFC

Asked what Costa was doing in the incident with Barry, Hiddink said: "Maybe a kiss. Love. Maybe it was love between the 2." #CFC (talkSPORT)

Hiddink: "I had a pre-set mind about Diego Costa before I started, because I follow football and especially #Chelsea.“ [GWL]

Hiddink: "I said to Diego Costa: why can’t you limit your game to what you’re good at? Focus on the good things and not all the fuss.“ [GWL]

Hiddink: "Tactically, in my opinion Diego Costa was going too far out wide to the left and also back to half way line.“ [GWL]

Hiddink: "Diego Costa was often 40 yards away from the danger area but we have other players who can do that.“ [GWL]

Hiddink: "But because of Diego Costa's high energy level he wanted to do everything, similar to Didier Drogba when I first came here.“ [GWL]

Hiddink: "Drogba was also coming into midfield but we also had these players like Lampard and Essien, who could do the creative play.“ [GWL]

Hiddink: "It’s important to get the best out of Diego Costa. Limit yourself to what you’re good at and lurk in and around the box. [GWL]
