I find it hard to believe that an official account would say something like that unless it was done in a way that clearly marked it out as good natured banter.

I think he was actually injured from the start and it was always a question of how much he can stay out there. Right from the beginning you could see that he wasn't running right and he was just standing there when PSG had the ball saving his energy for when we attack. 

Great goal to give us hope, but we have no replacement for him.
