communicate 2,703
And he deserves it. U see people condoning his bone headed, childish and unneccesary antics and downright unsporting behaviours. It's a mistery how he hasnt gotten any red card and fa suspension so far. Every game, it's the same ole crap from him. The same hypocrite supporting him after last night are the same people that vilified aguero for stamping on david luiz. Such behaviour has no place in football/sport.I will be the first one to want him to get banned if I think the stamp was intentional but I don't see it at all. He was jumping in the air on skrtel "stamp" where both player were moving u simply cannot just move up feet out of the way.

laeth 527
That doesn't look intentional to you?No, it doesn't. He's planting his foot to go after the ball (which he is looking at) and pushing off as it's his most rear leg.
Spike 12,049
He isn't even looking at Can when he "stamps" on him, he's only got eyes for the ball. How can you say it's deliberate? It's impossible. Spatial awareness is a thing. He knew what he was doing. Peace.
iseah100 5,612
Skertel provoked him. Look what Can, Leiva, Henderson were doing to our players. Clear campaign against us. I love Diego and don't think he did anything wrong. LET'S GO TO WEMBLEY! Smithette
Belgiannutt 3,201
Sorry but looked intentional both times.Don't really understand the logic of "he wasn't looking at them so it wasn't deliberate"As if he didn't know they were there. He knew Skrtel had gone down in front of him and he knew Can was on the ground in front of him.Only thing i'd say is that if they ban Costa, why wasn't Skrtel retrospectively banned for his elbow on Costa at Anfield ? I love Diego and don't think he did anything wrong. LET'S GO TO WEMBLEY!And I notice nothing's being said about Skrtel's gesture to the crowd or Markovic grabbing at Luis's neck off the ball either. I'm almost starting to believe this campaign thing. Still, walking past the miserable and bitter Liverpool fans stuck on their coaches afterwards, whilst chanting 'Steven Gerrard, he cost you the league' has somewhat lessened my anger

Cosmin 2,484
Intentional or not, let's see how things work out for us if he gets banned for a few games. His behaviour is plain stupid. You don't have to be a twat to be a great striker. Remember Didier.

Pacquiao 1,834
There is simply no way anyone can say the 1st stamp was deliberate, there is nothing at all to suggest he done it on purpose, Costa is like a dog playing fetch, he has his eyes glued on the ball, and looks desperate to get it, imo it was not deliberate, and without question no one can say he meant to do it and back it up with any facts, because no one other then Costa knows what was going through his mindas for the 2nd one that clearly was accidental, so i have no worries about that oneso i just hope Oliver tells the FA that he simply cant say whether Costa meant it or not, so therefore he would have given him a yellow card or not punished him at all, because imo that is what any sane person would say.
