TheOneChan95 225
I think he is too important to be dropped right now. If there is a chance he could play, I think he will still be a starter, and Remy as a sub.I think we shouldn't risk it as it's still too early in the season. If this becomes a long term problem it could be more detrimental in the long run. We should have enough quality to beat Swansea at home and the Man City game is much more important. Remy can handle that match we can bring costa for schalke or mancity.
petre.ispirescu 4,928
Spain are playing the first game of their Euro 2016 qualifier tomorrow against Macedonia BUT don't worry, Costa has already pulled out of the squad with Munir called in as his replacement. As for the extent of his injury, no official words from the club just yet but if we believe what David Silva has said, then it's nothing serious. Will probably be back against Swansea or if not Schalke or even Man City if Mourinho feels the need to wrap him up in cotton wool.Thank you. Now let's just hope it's nothing serious. On a side note, look what Torres did to us, Chelsea fans - we're so desperate not to lose Diego Costa that we'd be going nuts even if he'd catch a cold lol. But this Swansea are in form, and I have my concern with Jose, he is not afraid to take the risk if necessary. If Costa is passed fit to play, I think Jose will start him, not thinking like "oh, he could play but he is just recovered, let's give him a rest". BlueLion. 21,491
I feel less worried about Costa being potentially injured as we now have Remy, but I still want him to not push himself when he isn't quite 100%.
Special Juan 28,141
Anyone else notice how many times he got back in that Everton game? Even managed to dispossess a few of their players way back in our own half.Hoping the injury's nothing serious but I think Jose will rest him for Swansea. Whilst he was getting back to stop attacks at times he was also closing down everything up front, chasing down Tim Howard and never giving the defenders an easy time. He's been brilliant, and that isn't including his goals. meetdoscar 335
Ibra is d best so much that he shouldn't even be on that list. Aguero is next based on his versatility and winning 2 league titles in EPL(that's not easy). Costa is behind aguero in 3rd he also offers versatility and would probably have had a statue at athletico if he was fit and won the UCL instead of real madrid, costa is a winner. However I think suarez has the best potential but because he hasn't achieved anything he comes 4th for me due to his versatility and variety of goals. Lewandowski is good but doesn't scare me, same for cavani, RVP. Falcao isn't top because he is a predator but not a versatile striker, as a predator he is the best considering finishing alone. Rooney, torres, higuain I don't care about, they are not as prolific as the others. So ibra might not be a big game player but his mere presence is scary enough but smaller teams he gives nighmares and has a lot of trophies especially league titles to show as evidence. Technically and physically he is the best. He comes at No. 1Aguero has great balance, technique, versatility and talent but also strength, helped unknown city to 2 Epl title, 1 more will equal our EpL trophys in the last decade. He comes at No. 2Diego costa did for athletico what no other striker has done for them and they have had many great strikers. To beat the quality of barca and madrid to liga and nearly the UCL(which he was absent) makes him scary at No. 3 with potential to go up higher.Suarez has shown great potentials which are only so because he has won nothing unfortunately. However a good player is a good player and he has some great scoring record in the EPL which is not easy but he has not shown enough in Big games too. He has classy goals in him and versatility but let's see how he does at barca (a big team). He is the best dribbler among the strikers and he comes at 4th. Popular Post! Madmax 9,219 Posted September 10, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted September 10, 2014 I'm watching this show called 'Football Today' on Premier League TV. There's a Daily Mirror journo on the show called Andy Dunn who narrated an anecdote that supposedly happened in one of the early season training sessions.Apparently Diego Costa summoned Oscar towards him and asked him to gather JT, Gary Cahill and Branna so that he could translate to them something he wanted to say. Oscar calls them all, they're standing in a circle and Costa tells the boy to translate this message - "I'm going to war this year and I want the three of you to come with me."I have a boner. robsblubot 3,595
People really do overrate Ibra don't they! Yes he has scored special goals and goals some would never be able do don't but that doesn't make him the best striker in the world!I would take Aguero, Suarez, Lewandowski, Falcao (pre injury form) and Rvp (On Form) over him. He's also sure to vanish in tough games, while Surez thrives in those.

Sounds like BS. Edited September 10, 2014 by The Chels jeronimo and TheOneChan95
